Hi

Same here

I did I-485 and I-765 biometrics taken yesterday that was March 12

But today I got a letter from USCIS appointment to my I-131 AP biometrics taking on coming March 24

Did you ask USCIS or you have any idea what happend?

Yes, I have called USCIS Customer Support and confirmed that I need to go and re-take the fingerprints again.

They said that sometimes the fingerprints taken didn't come out well. So they would ask you to re-do that again.

Oh well, I will need to drive back for 2.5 hrs to re-do the fingerprints again in the end of this month.....

Hopefully, after the re-do, my petition process will go faster.

New update, so that AOS interview I had today was just cancelled and it was originally slated for 2pm pacific time. Seems like some interviews are already being cancelled until further notice.

Just did our biometrics today at the Jax USCIS office. Once arrived, just readily took us in. 1 guy doing it when we arrived. Total of more or less 10minutes probably for the whole process. Once done, two people came in. No concerns for COVID-19 since no one there at all.

I'll come back for sure some other time since I'm still waiting for my I-765 info (they missed my I-765 app in my package... grrr). Wait time for Tier 2 call back is at 2.25hours.

Yes, our cheques were cashed at 3am this morning (I had text message alerts set up for any debits on that account, which come through within a few minutes of the transaction).

So 4 text messages received between 12:20 and 12:27am, and then text message (edit: from the bank, not USCIS) confirming cheques cashed at 3:55am.

I just called my bank again to see if my cashier’s check has been cashed out, and it has not. How can it be that I receive 3 texts (I-765, I-130, and Biometrics Fee Received) without cashing out the check first? How can they send a text saying they received the biometrics fee when the check for all fees is not cashed out? I’m confused 🤔😂

There was about a 3hr delay between us getting our texts and our cheque being cashed, so maybe that's why .. call again tomorrow? I'm sure they wouldn't file your case without first cashing the fee!!

Because they cash the cheque at their bank, their bank then tells your bank to send them the money. In short: they assume you're good for the money and the cheque won't bounce (the risks are a bit higher/lower depending on if it's a money order/cashier's cheque/personal cheque etc).

Did biometrics today in Bartlett, TN. If you changed your name after marriage, bring your marriage license with you. Luckily I had a picture of it in my phone. Ugh. Had to wait outside for about half an hour. They won’t let you in earlier than 15 minutes before your appointment. The whole thing took about 40 minutes

How does one call USCIS to ask them and inform them that i never got my NOA1 in the mail? I have USPS informed delivery on, and i was scheduled to receive the fingerprint appointments yesterday, but it is still nowhere to be found.

i’ve called my local post office and they said i should wait atleast 5 days.. which i found odd since I received all my mail (addressed to my husband, the NOA1 was addressed to me) except my hard copies.

Help!

EARLY BIOMETRICS

We went into the VERY helpful Gardena Los Angeles ASC office today.  Our biometrics appointment is 3/25. We went in today to see if we could do it earlier.  The lady there was so sweet.  She apologized that they just received written notice from above that they no longer are allowed to do that.

She said they do not plan to close the customs offices, though.  Rather they will stay open and also mandate that people wait in line outside.

So, we wil be back there next week on 3/25.
