HANG IN THERE, EVERYONE!

One step closer for us.  We got the NOA in the mail last night.  It's so comforting to have these MSC numbers, so we can use the Customs website.  Now we wait for the Biometrics letter.  We are hoping to get Biometrics done before CORVID concerns start closing govt offices and potentially slow things down even more for us.  Who knows?  

 

2/21 Fed Exd forms

2/24 Received

3/5 Text of application acceptance and MSC numbers issued

3/10 Hard copy in US mail of MSC numbers, etc.

Biometrics for me (I-485) is on 03/17. Son's I-485 and I-765 will be on the same day too. We'll probably drop in next week once I sort out my missing I-765.

Has anyone experienced this, USCIS missed one of my applications, I-765? Called USCiS and said that they don't see anything about I-765 for me and requested me to send an email to the lockbox support. Support responded that they normally responds within 30 days. Darn!!!

 

I bet I just have to ready my new I-765 application. Sigh....

Ahhhh feeling your uncertainty here.  Yeah -- it sucked seeing all that money leave my account until I realized how great it felt to see all that money leve my account.  Panic after 30 business days.  You still have more time before that.

I'm right there with you all. Submitted 22nd, nothing heard since then, money still in the account. I have decided that I'm not panicking until all of you receive your NOA1 and I still don't have mine, as long as so many of us are still waiting I think they simply havn't gotten to us yet

I got four text notification just a few minutes ago.

It was such a long waiting, and I hope others can get the notifications soon as well. 

 

Below is my timeline so far. 

02/20/2020 - AOS package (I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131) sent to USCIS

02/22/2020 - Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

03/11/2020 - Text notifications received

I receieved a notice in the mail today for my I-131:

 

It basically said that the biometrics my husband did on March 2nd, 2020 was just for I-485 and I-765 and they will use the "past biometrics" ( I'm guessing they mean biometrics from the Port of Entry) to compare with the biometrics from 3/2 "for security reasons", in order to process I-131. The letter didn't seem like a cause for concern, just thought it was an interesting update, wondered if anyone receieved something similar? 🤷🏿‍♀️

 

P.s. This Covid-19 thing is crazy! I pray our process is extremely slowed down by this 😓😵😵😵 but at the same time I hope everyone is safe. Wash your hands and do away with the masks.

Two days ago my Wife had her Biometrics done and just this morning I got email updates that USCIS received the biometrics for the 485 and 765 but my 131 hasn't been updated so I am assuming this will be just like yours. Waiting for the letter in the mail.
