Guys..how in gods name does one get through to an actual human when calling uscis...the robot lady literally keeps saying i dont need to speak to one but i do and then she eventually hangs up lol

Finally : On November 2, 2020, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number ..., and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. How long it takes to get EAD? I’m so happy even if it’s been over 8 months ☺️

Just got a call back from USCIS Tier 2.
Well my question was about having a biometrics appointment next week even though I already have my EAD card with me. 

 

The person who called me was surprisingly friendly, after what I've heard here, I was expecting someone to call me yelling and hanging up on me.

Turns out there's not much she can do about my appointment and she strongly suggested for me to show up at biometrics and bring my old notice stamped, the new one as well as the EAD card with me.

 

That's all, for anyone in this position I think you shouldn't risk it and just go.

I just got an email from them, they have cancelled my biometrics appointment for Monday, woo! Haha who knew I could be happy about a cancelled biometrics appointment after waiting for so long. It says that they created and mailed an ASC appointment notice by error.

Ahhh, it's frustrating hearing different things! I just received an email and they've cancelled my appointment.

Oh wow! I’ll try calling them. Why did you have to wait for a few days for a response? Sorry, I haven’t tried calling for a long time! I don’t know about the changes.

They're no longer allowing you to ask for a Tier 2 agent, I assume due to excessive amount of calls. So now, they connect you with a Tier 1 and they take your contact information along with the issue/your case and then tell you that a Tier 2 agent will contact you via email or phone!

I was able to do a walk-in for I-131 biometrics. You guys should definitely try to do the I-131 biometrics to be on the safe side.

Yes me too i got a called back from 'Tier 2 yesterday and she was also nice and she also recommended we just show up and bring everything as well so whoever is in this boat as well im just adding this response so you guys can see tier 2 are basically telling us to go safe by going.
