Me too! Are you going to go? I called USCIS and am supposed to have a rep call me back. I'm supposed to start working the day of my appointment. So frustrating!!!

Were you able to sort it out? I had a rep instruct me to send it back to the address on the notice.

i asked why they can’t do it on their end, and they said they are a different branch or something? Lol.

i returned the notice along with an explanation that i already have my EAD/AP. And attached a copy of my EAD with it.

Congratulations to you both! Here’s wishing you peace and happiness with your significant others.

can you please share your experience and the questions you were asked?

Thank you!!!

Our interview was Thursday and our officer was very nice. But almost immediately after starting he asked for the I-944. I explained to him that we mailed our application before Feb 24 and the USCIS website says applications sent by courier will go by the postmark date (aka the date it was mailed). He explained how he had never heard about that, but after about 5 minutes of discussion he said he would look into it. if He explained that if turns out we need it, he’d send an RFE

The interview itself was very easy. Outside of the medicals, he didn’t ask for anything. He had us verify some information like addresses and work history, then asked if we had brought anything new but it’s fine if we didn’t. We had, so we showed him cards people gave us on our wedding day, gave him joint bank account statements and our insurance cards. We also gave him a letter from my husbands employer. He was satisfied with this.

What surprised us the most is he didn’t ask about my husbands birth certificate. My husband does not have an original birth certificate and he is from a country where people born before a certain year can not get a new copy of a birth certificate. We did include a thorough letter in our application explaining this, and we did have attestation of birth, but still I’m surprised this wasn’t brought up. There wasn’t much more evidence we could provide if requested.

He didn’t ask any questions about our relationship. After he was done we chatted for like 10 minutes just about immigration and corona. He was a super nice guy! We left, not knowing if we’d get RFE for the I944.

Well yesterday we got emails that our I485 and I130 were approved! We didn’t need to submit the I944!

Ughhh. I also got a biometrics appointment letter in the mail today for my I-131... I got my combo card almost 2 months ago. So what did you guys do? I suddenly regret filing for I-131 lol can’t even use it!

We got one as well, and our i485 was already approved. I think they’re just sending them to everyone. We’re going to call Uscis soon.

Congratulations on your approval! I will try calling them too. Can you please let us know what they’ll tell you? It’s crazy because you already have everything approved basically and you got another notice lol. I feel bad for those who haven’t even heard anything 🥺

My case just updated to fingerprints taken.  Only received the notification from the Lawfully app, haven’t checked the website yet.

Same here, and what is next, I have no idea? When should we get EAD and SSN? I can’t even ask for interview for green card, that sounds soooo far away 😢😂

Ooooh that's a good idea, I wish they told me that lol. They haven't contacted me yet, today it will be the 7th business day so hopefully they call me to sort it out otherwise I'll call back. Thanks for letting me know!

Thank you for responding. Why Veterans Day question? I have never heard of it.

were you guys separated?

We were together... I think he was just asking random questions that came to his head.. It was overall very relaxed.

Pardon me, folks.

We just moved from Ogden, UT to Helena, MT and we have a biometrics appointment for 11/13.

I was going to send in the form to reschedule this appointment. But I also submitted a change of address today for our new Helena address.

Is there a chance they will reschedule our appointment to the nearest USCIS in Helena?

Did you hear from them today? I’m thinking of just going... it sucks because it’s four hours away lol. So I was just wondering if they called you or anything. Thank you!

I made a mistake thinking today was my 7th day, but it's actually Wednesday! Hoping they give me a call. Gonna plan on going just in case they don't contact me in time. I'll let you know what they say! I tried talking to another person via Emma, but got the same thing - they'll connect me with a Tier 2 agent. Four hours is so far omg :(
