Anyone has tips on how best to prove financial capability if spouse is self employed (owner of small business)? I see that folks who have had interviews generally bring pay stubs which isn't applicable to our case. What can we bring/show to prove?

Anyone that had their biometrics taken but no updates? It's been a week on mine. Is that normal??

Nada for me either, had them taken one week ago as well. But I got this update about the outside of normal processing times service request.

“The status of this service request is:

Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner.

Address Changes:  If you move, please provide us with an updated address. For more information about address changes, please visit our Web site at www.uscis.gov/ar-11, and click on "Change Your Address Online."

For questions about your application, you can use our many online tools (uscis.gov/tools) including our virtual assistant, Emma. If you are not able to find the information you need online, you can reach out to the USCIS Contact Center by visitinguscis.gov/contactcenter.“

Where are you checking your status?

I use two things:

This one sends me alerts when something changes:

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/

And this one is a mobile app, which I like a lot, actually I was able to see my tracking number here, didn't even have to call to ask for it.

Same for me and neither of my service requests has been answered, I even submitted a secondary one through the phone. Instead I got another appointment letter for 131 biometrics for 11/09 😡...

I called today and first I said, "Representative".

Then I said "USCIS error".

And it connected me to a human

Thank you for this! I tried it this morning but unfortunately it didn't work for me. Just prompts robo lady to ask where to send a form for grammatical error notification or some such nonsense. I tried USCIS error, USCIS mistake, USCIS fault, all with the same result :( End result is always that robo lady determines I can't be helped and hangs up on me

Omg this is so annoying!

For me jt didn't work the first time as well, but give it a little more words to confuse the algorithm.

I would say first "representative".

Second " Uscis Error on my case" or "Uscis error on case urgent EAD

A little gibberish so it doesn't clearly understand you.

Just heard back from our Senator. Apparently my husband was approved last week for a combo card(no updates) and should be receive notices sometime soon. Btw: my husband has an biometric appt for 131 coming up🙃🙃😒

I'm just so disappointed and scared for what all of this says about USCIS and its future -- I thought it was supposed to be better after the funding came through, but apparently not. I also just received a duplicate notice for biometrics with the exact same date and time as the one I've already completed, which is stamped and signed already. It took a total of 3 online reps and a collective two hours just to change my mailing address, because their online form wouldn't work for me. On top of that all of our online statuses have just suddenly stopped updating, which (I imagine) only increases the number of calls being made to the call centres, which were already inaccessible prior to all of the changes they've made to the automated system.

It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion.. just keeps getting worse.

Congratulations on the approval, @Nativequeen, forgot to mention that bit in my ranting 😅
