Oh boy haha. Thats annoying

I got my EAD approved about a month ago, received it in the mail a week later. But its not a combo card and o never received an appointment for I-131. And my case status still says "case received". Maybe you'll also just get the EAD? Who know, nothing at USCIS makes sense😅

Meanwhile, I also received my interview notice for next month btw! It all went so fast after that stupid biometrics appointment...

I know we are aliens to them, but I swear I only have 10 fingers.. maybe they want to biometry my feet now?

Glad to know you made it back without encountering problems. And best of luck on the interview!

Thanks! I'll report back here after the interview. Its at 8:30 in the morning, and from what I've heard morning appointments are pretty straight forward, so that's nice.

For anybody interested or in a similar situation, entry into the US (at JFK) was really easy. I was put into that CBP room, waited for about 20 minutes and was released after an officer looked through my paperwork. I wasn't questioned or anything.

Oh nice! Mine is on the 16th, so same week. Good luck!

Hi! All this USCIS situation is so weird.. So I received the third letter today!

As I've told you guys yesterday I received an I-797 NOA approving my EAD and my Advance Parole.

Today I checked my mail and guess what? I have a biometrics appointment scheduled for November, case type: i-131, i-765.

I already did biometrics once in August for i-485, i-765. I totally regret asking for a combo card now lol.

I just saw your post on another site you posted at. Ironically I also got a USCIS letter. It’s for biometrics for my AP.

I have already given my bio 2 months ago. This is fun isn’t it.

Yes I also posted on reddit, was seeking opinions!

Not fun at all 😕

Was your EAD approved as well?

Fingers crossed for your approval in case you weren't yet, remember I never got any update online, just in mail

Thank you for the wishes. No approval for me yet. This is the first communication I got since biometrics and online status update a couple of days later (fingerprints applied to i485/765 then ready to schedule interview on 485).

Good morning everyone, we just got a USCIS mail today. As you might have read, I got a mail on Saturday for my AP biometrics appointment in Boston set for November 10. I have already given my biometrics in August(for i485 and i765) so this is a repeat notice.

Today's notice is for our interview. It's set for November 18 in Boston. We did not get any online update as has been the theme for a lot of us here.

Any tips are for the interview is as always appreciated! Thank you everyone and keep the spirits up. Feb filers are finally being remembered.

Same happened with me! I got home yesterday and I had a notice for bio in the mail. I have already received my EAD card so I am confused about what this is. Should I just ignore it? Also, there is new mail coming today from USCIS so hopefully is my interview notice!

Congratulations, I hope its an interview letter. I would suggest reaching out to USCIS or your congressman (If they helped you in the past) with the second bio letter and request that they cancel it as you already have your EAD. That way they can reschedule it for someone else.

I'm planning to do the same with mine.

I'm on the same boa here! I already received an approval notice for EAD and AP and now I received this second biometrics appointment.

I just got of the phone with uscis, a tier 1 agent told me I just have to send a copy of my approval notice to my ASC and not show up.

I don't know what to think about this answer so I still asked to talk with a tier 2 agent. She said there's a waiting queue system now and the tier 2 will call me within 7 business days.

This is nothing but a waiting game for everything I guess..

Same  issue here my parents who also have the EAD/AP combo card already since  sept 2020 they received a biometrics appt for nov for AP , not sure why i called uscis they put in a request to speak to a tier 2 as well within 7 business day , our lawyer said we shouldn't worry and we shouldn't have to go if they already have it but he will also reach out to uscis , it looks like it might be an error on their part. Ill keep you guys posted if i hear back :)

Actually my lawyer advised me to go to the appointment, bring the last appointment letter with the stamp from biometrics. And ask there if it's really needed.

He said it's the safest and best thing to do.

I guess I wanted to talk to a tier 2 agent about this because I feel like I'm taking someone else opportunity to do Biometrics, because I already did mine once. But I will not risk my chances
