Each state has multiple congressmen and sometimes senators, did you try the others? I reached out to 3 in total and got response from 1.

I'm still learning how US politics work, but on the Pennsylvania website I had to input our address and it seems like one congress person is assigned per zone. It looked like the entire state had three congresspeople total, but maybe because the state is so large they each have an assigned jurisdiction? I'm not sure. Maybe someone else understands better than I do?

Wow, that sounds like a dream. I'm happy they were able to help you so well

Yeah, thank God. That makes the waiting much easier to bear.

But also, not to be a downer, but I filed an outside processing times inquiry about my I-131 on 8/21 and its still not even been assigned for processing. Even though they said to expect a reply by 9/12...

I also submitted an inquiry about my I-131 on 08/31, they said to expect a response by 09/22, and it is also not yet assigned for processing.

02/22/20 -- AOS package (I-130/I-485/I-864/I-765/I-131) sent to USCIS

02/25/20 -- Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

03/17/20 -- Cheques cashed and text messages received

03/20/20 -- Received NOAs in the mail (I-130/I-486/I-765/I-131)

05/04/20 -- Received I-693 courtesy letter

10/11/20 -- Received biometrics notice (finally! Yay!)

10/21/20 -- Biometrics (I485/I765 Code 3, I-131 Code 2 in Hartford, CT)

10/23/20 -- Biometrics applied to all cases (I-485/I-765/I-131)

10/27/20 -- Case ready to be scheduled for an interview (location unknown 😅)

11/12/20 -- Second biometrics appointment (I-131, Code 2, in Pittsburgh, PA)

01/20/21 -- I-765 Expedite Request Submitted

01/29/21 -- I-765 Expedite Request Approved

02/01/21 -- I-765/I-131 Approved

02/16/21 -- Interview was Scheduled

02/17/21 -- Interview confirmed to be scheduled at the wrong FO, request to reschedule interview initiated

03/16/21 -- Interview cancelled, entered into scheduling queue for the correct FO

05/14/21 -- Interview rescheduled

06/25/21 -- Interview completed in Pittsburgh, approved on the spot 🙏❤️

Have seen this happen a few times now, best thing would be to go! Or seek help via congress folks. The thing is that the officer might/might not note that you are not going to attend the appt as you already have the card and that might cascade to a different avalanche altogether.

It’s crazy how many of us from February are still waiting for our biometrics appointments and then USCIS schedules many of us appointments we don’t even need (which slows things down even more!)

Thank you guys for replying to my questions!

I called today and talked to a tier2 officer.

he confirmed that my biometrics has applied to the only pending case I have (i-485),

so he cancelled the second biometrics appointment for me!

I hope this spot will be opened up for someone waiting!

It's been a good day, guys!

I just got off the phone with a lovely tier 2 officer who informed me my biometrics appointment was scheduled for 9/28!

...btw, has anyone heard of a successful biometrics walk-in since reopening? I know they don't allow them currently, but the tier 2 officer I talked to today told me I should try anyway and explain my situation. I got my notice by email from the senator's office, so I'll drive there tomorrow at 8am sharp. I'm not really expecting anything though. If anyone has any advice or experience, lmk!

You just have to try. Some got lucky, some don't. Depends a lot on the office and the person who's in charge the moment you show up.

Went in for my second biometrics for AP today. Only had to do one index finger and a picture. Funny thing, my combo card was already delivered yesterday but we didn’t know. Very useful appointment today 😛.

I told the security officer, I’ll see you tomorrow 🤣 he was nice talking about the weather and such lol.

I have my interview tomorrow and want to make some copies of my bills. Will I need them in my future applications or is this just for keepsake for my own administration?
