Hey I understand its hard! My PD is 02/21 and there have been other folks with PD like mine who I found here and on reddit that haven't gotten their Bio yet. Best thing to do would be to reach out to your congressman and try to remember that this is a unpredictable process. Folks at USCIS from the few I have seen make posts are continuing to work as fast as they can. All the very best and have faith.

I appreciate that and you have my sympathy as well. I've considered reaching out to a Congressman. Perhaps starting with my House district representative. We're really hoping September is our month.

I'm pretty bummed. My NOA date was March 24th and there's no status for our EAD or advanced parole beyond our case being received.

We did have an RFE for our AOS which they received on 5/27, and that status for the AOS is unchanged beyond them having received our response.

I try not to panic and base my loose estimates on other people's timelines, but even taking into account other people's RFE's and when they got their NOA1, I'm very concerned that not a single other thing has changed on our case. No biometrics appointments or anything.

Should I just sit back and continue to wait? I've called USCIS in the past and I personally can't stand their automated lines and all the ever-changing prompts and extensions.

Hey, I know it's hard but you're not alone -- our PD is 02/25 and we haven't heard a single peep. No RFE's, no biometrics, nothing. Its been 199 days since we've gotten an update (which is just case is received). Though there's been a number of people in this thread who have seen movement (at least one has actually completed their interview so far, which is so exciting!), there are numerous people who haven't seen any updates.

Hang in there ❤️ this process is not easy, but at the very least you have people to commiserate with!

Side note: I'm facetiously hoping someone files a class action against USCIS for the biometrics delay. It's beyond unacceptable at this point, and clearly (From the EAD case) the class actions work. I know many of the USCIS workers are doing their best, but I definitely wouldn't complain if it was filed.

02/22/20 -- AOS package (I-130/I-485/I-864/I-765/I-131) sent to USCIS

02/25/20 -- Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

03/17/20 -- Cheques cashed and text messages received

03/20/20 -- Received NOAs in the mail (I-130/I-486/I-765/I-131)

05/04/20 -- Received I-693 courtesy letter

10/11/20 -- Received biometrics notice (finally! Yay!)

10/21/20 -- Biometrics (I485/I765 Code 3, I-131 Code 2 in Hartford, CT)

10/23/20 -- Biometrics applied to all cases (I-485/I-765/I-131)

10/27/20 -- Case ready to be scheduled for an interview (location unknown 😅)

11/12/20 -- Second biometrics appointment (I-131, Code 2, in Pittsburgh, PA)

01/20/21 -- I-765 Expedite Request Submitted

01/29/21 -- I-765 Expedite Request Approved

02/01/21 -- I-765/I-131 Approved

02/16/21 -- Interview was Scheduled

02/17/21 -- Interview confirmed to be scheduled at the wrong FO, request to reschedule interview initiated

03/16/21 -- Interview cancelled, entered into scheduling queue for the correct FO

05/14/21 -- Interview rescheduled

06/25/21 -- Interview completed in Pittsburgh, approved on the spot 🙏❤️

Yeah thanks for the encouraging words. I really think under normal circumstances my wife would've been working a part time job by now. And yeah it does help to hear from others who are going through the same thing. You can't help but wonder some days if it's just something you did horribly wrong.

Absolutely! We've dropped to one income (hubs is in school) and a second job would help immensely -- not to mention I'm a licensed front line worker and want to work in the field, but can't due to the restrictions on my current EAD. It's hugely frustrating. Even if you did make a mistake, all honest mistakes can be corrected. You are doing just fine :)

Hello everyone, i just finished talking to a Tier 1 again about my SSN application, and apparently their answer changed again, compared to Yesterday’s answer that a Tier 2 can directly send my information to the SSA office since they forgot to apply one for me when i filed for the EAD.

Now they are saying they CAN’T do that since “We don’t do Socials here” like.. what.. i KNOW, but just yesterday your Rep said you can help me forward my information.

Confused Thinking GIF by MOODMAN

I guess i’d have to mail it in, which is RISKY. Even the SSA officer i contacted told me it was.

i’m really confused now.

So sorry for the delay in responding. Here are the documents that I prepared - originals including copies. I organized them as follows:

1st Organizer:

  • Yellow  - All NOAS since K1
  • Orange - I-129 that USCIS sent to my husband
  • Pink - Taxes - 2016 thru 2019
  • Green - DS 3025 /I-94
  • Blue - Pay Stubs(3months)/Healthcare &Insurance
  • Purple - Bank Info/HELOC
  • Yellow - Utilities
  • Orange - Certified Marriage License/Passport Bios
  • Pink 2 - Forms I485/I864 (Filled) - just in case
  • Green 2 - Combo card/SSN (still on my maiden name) - IO said no worries
  • Blue 2 - Envelopes (Letters/Cards that I received form the past 30 days)
  • Purple - Our birth certificates

2nd Organizer:

  • Photo album from K1
  • Facebook posts that includes our pictures with family and friends - I just screenshot 4 random days every month and paste them on word (4 screenshots = 1 page)
  • Guest List Book
  • Wedding Cards we received from our guests and cards our relatives/friends mailed to us

Please be reminded that all of the above documents I've already sent when I filed my AOS way back in February 2020. The IO told me they only recommend to bring additional documents if the AOS application that they received is incomplete.

Tip: I used the below organizer(very organized and highly recommended) as recommended to me by @Sandyl

Smead 24 Pocket Poly Project Organizer, Letter Size, 1/3-Cut tab, Gray with Bright Colors (89206) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072J873DF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_yTruFb5QFQRS8

The questions that he asked me and/or my husband are as follows(from what I can remember - it didn't feel like an interview, it was just a chat to me).

  • Page 10 to 14 on AOS forms
  • Where did we met (Both)
  • When and how many times my husband visited me, did he meet my relatives while he was there (Hubby)
  • Where does he work (Hubby)
  • My adjustment living in the US
  • My future plans in terms of employment(after receiving GC) - Told him that hubby and I decided that I stay home. And I said I didn't go here to find a job, but to be able be with my husband. Told him I have an online business to keep me busy.

I hope this is helpful! Just ask away if you have further questions and I would be more than happy to answer as soon as I can!😀

Thank you so much for sharing! And congratulations again! ♥️

Hi everyone,

I'm feeling down about the EAD situation. On the VisaJourney EAD timeline all the recent approvals are for people who have filed in March and even April! Meanwhile us February filers are still waiting :(  I understand what happened with the biometrics, but I don't understand why March and April filers are ahead of us even for approvals. Does anyone have any insight on that?

Thank you to everyone in this sub for making the process more bearable!
