Mine is like that since August 18.

What about your i-765 EAD, any news?

I got my combo card last month. Did biometrics in March.

Unfortunately they have 90 days to respond to them.

and ombud will tell you the same thing " you have to wait 90 days" and you are not outside processing time. LMAO. Ombudsman is a joker at USCIS.

duh

I just tried this and it worked! I have been trying every week for a while since my receipt date is February 24th so it has been outside of processing times for a while, and today is the first time it actually acknowledged my case is outside of processing times

So anyone knows what really happens when you place an inquiry? Is it just a way to obtain extra information on your case?

I have no idea, I just know they said to expect a reply by September 18th, don’t really know what it will do to the case tho

They usually send you a canned response or script really nothing helpful that's my experience, but you may get lucky. Just don't be disappointed with their reply.

Is anyone here living in California around 1 hour east from LA? I'd like to gather timelines about cases from my area

We are in that area. Our local field office for the interview will be in San Bernardino, CA. Feel free to look at our timeline and good luck to you!

Sorry I’m sure this has been asked a thousand times but any advice is gratefully received.

I had 2 biometric appt letters for March, both cancelled of course. One was for I485 and I765, and one was for I131.

Since reopening I have received only a new biometric appt for the i485 and I765, and that appt was today. I asked the lady when I was there if they’d apply the same prints to my I131 and was told no, I’d have tomce

back when I get that appt.

I assume if I’d had my I131 appt letter she could have processed a second set of biometrics there and then? But I did not have that letter as it’s not been sent to me yet.

What have others’ experiences been?

1. TWO new appt notices received if applied for work auth and advance parole, both letters taken to first appt and only one visit needed

2. TWO new appt notices received if applying for work auth and advance parole and two trips made to the ASC

3. You’ve received one appt and not the other yet

I submitted a case inquiry for the i131 portion today as the processing time

for that is still up to 5 months, not 35 months like i765.

In the same situation as you are. Only received 1 appointment post re-opening. My card has already been mailed as of yesterday. I will let you know if it’s a combo card which I’m hoping it is since my I-131 has already been approved.

Hey guys,

Is this the correct number 1-800-375-5283 to contact USCIS? i am thinking of calling them tomorrow. I talked with a uscis representative in chat today, they told me my case is still under processing time. My case is in NBC and their current processing time is 28.5 Months to 37 Months 🤯🤯

Case received on Feb 24th 2020

Hey everyone. It's a sad day for me today as I had a death in the family last night. This is my second grandparent to pass during covid & my pending application.

I will ask for emergency AP again to attend the funeral and support my family. But I am very nervous that my biometrics notice will come when I'm in Europe. Do you think I can ask them to expedite my AP or combo card instead of granting me an emergency one as they did before? Like ask for an emergency biometrics appointment, followed by expedited processing or sth? I don't know if that's an option, but thought maybe one of you has any advice or insight.

I am really sorry to hear that and my heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. I think you should be able to expedite your AP, i am not sure about biometrics, but its better to call them and explain the situation to them. Maybe they will be able to expedite the biometrics.
