No movement yet, unfortunately. I keep checking all day, everyday and I'm starting to give up lol. But really happy for you! ❤️

Hey guys, want to share a really good positive updates: I got my EAD card yesterday !!

I did my biometric last week. And my I765 & I131 were approved in July. One interesting fact is I didn't get biometric notice for AP but the card I received is a combo card.  Hopefully this means that I don't need to go in for another biometric Good luck everyone !!

You mentioned before that you expedited. Did you receive the card because of the expedite request? Also when did you do biometrics exactly? To give us people who did biometrics in past couple days a better timeframe to understand when we could potentially get our cards.

I would say don’t give up but pretty sure we are giving up. Did Tier 2 and congressman and senator today. Really feel like giving up. No line. No reason. No fairness. No sense of order. Nothing. Totally there with you.

i called Feinstein and Nancy pelosi offices. Both of their offices are completely useless. They gave me the same message " wait for 90 days" lol

I feel like I’ve done everything I can... And it also doesn’t help when you get contradicting answers. When I asked if it will affect the decision when the expedite request gets denied, the first Tier 1 I talked to said it will take longer for it to get approved. And then I asked Emma, they said it won’t affect anything. How was it with the congressman? I asked for help from ours and I was given a privacy release form that I had to mail to them since it has to be handwritten. I’m just confused because I’ve seen people get answers just by calling. 🥴

I’m really hoping you’ll receive good news soon... Hang in there and stay safe!

Omg nooo! It'll come soon. Our timeline is basically the same so it seems like you're in a good processing time given the circumstances. Really hoping you hear something soon, though!

Tier One and Emma are just giving computer and committee generated scripts. One is human and one is computer and neither can see it know or do anything more than your case tracker. Tier 2 try hard by are powerless. Congress representative said they would check in with USCIS but really nothing they can do. They probably would just hear the same “you are in a pile to be rescheduled and we can’t say when” answer.

I feel likes immigration officers at USCIS flip coins to select applications and petitions. 🤣

I went to my biometric appointment on 11th, so I was waiting whole today for the text and email notification of EAD approval.

Seems like I may spend the whole my time just for HUCA tomorrow.

I still haven't received any text or email confirmation. are you checking the case status update on the uscis website? that's where I found out

The email I got today is as follows

Quote

There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.
MSC209087****
Receipt Number: MSC209087****
Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION
Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production
On August 25, 2020, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC209087****, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I understand it takes 2 weeks to get EAD on our hands, and I expect no news in the meantime.

For me, I'm going to call customer service tomorrow to figure out the possibility of getting a pdf version of the notification letter.

BTW, it is a bit weird to me that there's no approval notification before the EAD production.

Congratulations!

Don't worry about that, in my case it said "card is being produced" before it swapped to "approved" as well, this seems to be the normal order of things for some reason

Thanks for sharing! I thought it was odd having to fill that out so it really is what they do then.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to give an update. My receipt date is Feb 24th and I just had biometrics today in Salt Lake City. It was a very quick appointment and they did all ten fingers. I asked if she could also do prints for AP but she didn't know anything about AP and said that the prints will be good for one year and will be able to be applied to other things within that time. I'm really hoping that in the next couple weeks I will finally get my EAD approval, but I know it's uncertain because of the slowdowns. Best of luck to everyone, I hope we can all get our EADs soon! We have been through too much at this point.
