Thank all of you for your help and advice!

I know the odds are low, but wish me luck. I spent the last 1.5 hours putting together my package. It's about 30 pages and has 6 supporting document categories. In the cover letter I ended up appealing to almost all expedite categories: severe financial loss to a person, humanitarian reasons (expiring health insurance), and UCSIS error (you know, just this entire mess) with an emphasis on me filing well before I was about to lose my previous work authorization.

Running to Office Depot now to fax it to them.

Also @James120383 - thanks for the advice. That's exactly what I plan on doing. And in case i get denied, I will try again as soon as I have an offer letter.

I just got off the phone with a Tier 2 officer. He sounded really happy, must have something to do with the cancelled furlough. They sent me my interview notice per email since USPS claimed my address was wrong and sent it back to the USCIS lol. Now I can use that letter to complete my whole package for the 17th.

Hey guys, want to share a really good positive updates: I got my EAD card yesterday !!

I did my biometric last week. And my I765 & I131 were approved in July. One interesting fact is I didn't get biometric notice for AP but the card I received is a combo card.  Hopefully this means that I don't need to go in for another biometric Good luck everyone !!

Did you received an email saying EAD/AP card was mailed?

Thanks!!! So excited.

For sure! Timelines are my favourite thing/the most useful thing about VJ so I try to keep a detailed description on my profile timeline (in case you wanna check that out), but I will copy and paste it here. I checked my EAD case status last night (8/24) but it hadn't changed quite yet - I noticed it changed earlier today.

I just called USCIS and the person who answered me was shocked, she was a Tier 1, and when I asked her about the new processing times for i-765 (EAD),  she had no idea about this, and honestly, based on other people's testimonies, that are seeing progressions on their cases, I think we can assume this are not real time estimates, as we discussed previously.

Overall she was very positive and told me I should be almost receiving a combo card, based on what she was seeing. I do believe she didn't have access to much more information that I have through Online trackers tho.. Not sure if I should have asked for a tier 2, but I imagined it wouldn't add up much.

Stay strong in there

Have a great day!

No problem. Hopefully you will receive your card soon. I didn't get the "approved" update, so hopefully you just pass that and go straight to card being produced/mailed to you!

You're right. Tier 1 can't see more than what you can see
