Btw, does anyone know if a PT job offer, like at ULTA or sth, would be good enough to for a I-765 expedite request? Or do they really only care when it's like a big-boy job?

Any job would be fine to expedite. I thought it had to be a big company as well but a formal letter with a job offer seems to be enough. Also, about Emma, if you wanna know about rescheduling call them and ask for tier 2, the representatives on Emma will tell you the same thing on the status that you already know.

Actually-- it just changed to "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken". Now just need card to be produced!

 

Edit-- weirdly, the 131 and 765 had them applied, but not the 485. The 485 though had finger prints applied showing from March 18 though (our original date).

 

Strange.

Oh, I didn't know that about Emma. Chat is just so much more convenient, and I thought they'd have actual info. But I'll call again then, thanks.

I asked here too the same question and everybody said any job so... 

 

Yeah, Emma is way more convenient and I wish they had ppl on the chat that could do something.

i would say just go out to anyone hiring and get a employment letter and fax it to USCIS to get expedited.  no other way to get out of the nonsense USCIS is creating

But I said before and hopefully I'm.wrong, I hope expediting really does something and not just "oh, we expedited it but it'll take a thousand years yet"

Hey everyone! Just had my Biometrics taken Yesterday morning at 9 am. 
 

 

Here’s my timeline updated:

 

2/24/2020: AOS packet received

3/10/2020: NOA1

5/28/2020: RFE on i-485 asking for my husband’s 2018 Tax return again.

6/9/2020: RFE received 

 

( By this time i was contacting my Local congressman and Senator, and asked USCIS to put in a Service request. )

 

8/10/2020: Congressman got back to me with an E-mail that i have been scheduled for an ASC appointment finally.

 

8/21/2020: Case updated to EAD and AP approved.

 

8/24/2020: ASC biometrics appointment. 
 

8/25/2020: (1 am ) Case updated to EAD New card being ordered, Fingerprints applied to i-485.

 

8/25/2020: (10 am ) EAD updated to Fingerprints applied to i-765.

 

 

😁 Hopefully will have my EAD card soon!

Yep, that's what was something I was concerned with. Maybe they just never updated my AP case? I didn't think I'd get any movement on either since AP hasn't changed to fingerprints taken. But either way I'm happy to see some movement.

Hey again!

I am excited to report that my EAD expedite request from Friday just came back asking for additional information. This is obviously not a win yet, but I am very excited to see something moving in my case! 

 

I wanted to ask if you have any advice what to send as supporting documents, for the best possible chances to get it expedited? As of right now I have:

 

* Bank statements from the last three months, showing my main account going down significantly (like very, very low. You don't even wanna know...) In my opinion that should be enough, but okay.

* My old EAD that expired 7/31/20 and that was conditional, connected to the theatre industry, which has been completely shut down since mid-March

* A furlough notice from my previous job (originally mid-March, then again end of March, and a last notice dated June 2nd, that states the Theatre won't reopen until January 2021

 

I just got a job interview as well. They are currently not hiring (in the industry) but want to interview me for as soon as hiring resumes. Could that help? Like that I need to be able to start at any moment, potentially?

I would also suggest evidence of your current bills (rent/mortgage), car, etc. 
 

Have you already done biometrics?
