They said they would mail the 3025 form to him.  Does that sound right and do you know what the timeline is to receive it?

They should have given him the ds 3025(vaccination records) ,I was given a copy of my vaccination, TB result copy and CD , the original I guess must have been with the medical records , he is supposed to have travelled with it. He has to include a copy in his AOS

Sigh, our application hasn't been confirmed as delivered yet. The date has now changed to tomorrow by 8pm.

Has anyone found this process has made them acutely paranoid? I have a few things that I'm worried about:

- I've been an F1 student in the USA since 2017, and recently (Dec) completed my graduate degree (and I've never, ever violated status)

- Mailed I-765 for OPT in December and was assured by my DSO that I could travel home for Christmas without issue due to an active I-20

- Fiancé (at the time) and I went home for Christmas and spent about a month with my family (huge blessing to see them, didn't get to spend the holidays with them last year!!)

- Re-entered the USA with F1 status and valid I-20 in January thinking I had a pending OPT application

Turns out, my initial I-765 application was rejected in error at USCIS before it was filed and returned to me before I even left the country for Christmas. I didn't know this; USPS returned all of our mail to sender while we were gone and all of my notices (including my original application and fee) were lost in the mail somewhere and I haven't received any of them to this day. I've since reapplied for OPT, which is being processed.

This brought about huge panic in our household; we didn't know if I was even here legally. I was inspected and paroled at the border as F1, but I had technically left during my 60 day grace period without any pending OPT application, so we didn't know if I had technically voided my F1 by leaving. My school's counsel advised that I re-apply for OPT and they issued me a new I-20, which is what is processing with the OPT now.

I still don't have direct answers as to whether my entry was "legal" and it keeps me up at night!

I didn't misrepresent, lie, or enter with explicit intentions of marrying. This experience did, however, give my fiancé and I a huge wakeup call as to how quickly immigration can go awry. We decided to get our license and married a few weeks later. I adore my husband and wouldn't change him for the world, but I do sometimes get jealous of other couples/friends of ours who are getting married and don't face similar barriers!!

02/22/20 -- AOS package (I-130/I-485/I-864/I-765/I-131) sent to USCIS

02/25/20 -- Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

03/17/20 -- Cheques cashed and text messages received

03/20/20 -- Received NOAs in the mail (I-130/I-486/I-765/I-131)

05/04/20 -- Received I-693 courtesy letter

10/11/20 -- Received biometrics notice (finally! Yay!)

10/21/20 -- Biometrics (I485/I765 Code 3, I-131 Code 2 in Hartford, CT)

10/23/20 -- Biometrics applied to all cases (I-485/I-765/I-131)

10/27/20 -- Case ready to be scheduled for an interview (location unknown 😅)

11/12/20 -- Second biometrics appointment (I-131, Code 2, in Pittsburgh, PA)

01/20/21 -- I-765 Expedite Request Submitted

01/29/21 -- I-765 Expedite Request Approved

02/01/21 -- I-765/I-131 Approved

02/16/21 -- Interview was Scheduled

02/17/21 -- Interview confirmed to be scheduled at the wrong FO, request to reschedule interview initiated

03/16/21 -- Interview cancelled, entered into scheduling queue for the correct FO

05/14/21 -- Interview rescheduled

06/25/21 -- Interview completed in Pittsburgh, approved on the spot 🙏❤️

Hello everyone,

We sent off our packet (I-485, I-765, and I-131, so basically the three forms) on 2/17. It was delivered 2/19. We got a message with 3 case numbers yesterday 2/24 and dreadfully looked at my bank account and saw the check was cashed today 2/25. Now we wait 😂 good luck to everyone.

Good deal you are on board now. Welcome to the thread!

Hi, we sent our application on Feb 18 express Usps shipping, got delivered and signed on February 19, so far the check has not been cashed, i hadn't receive text confirmations or NOA

I verified the check was for the correct amounts, 1225 for form 1'485 and 535 for form i-130, 130A, i am F1 student filling concurrently both, also verified the cashier´s check was to U.S. department of homeland security, also verified we used the right editions on the forms and that we signed every form before sending them, i am a Dallas filler.

I keep worrying that other cases with same filling dates are getting their check cash and confirmation text, i read about lockbox and they have to scan our application however our application is 7 pounds, and we included 25 pages of pictures, because we have been together since 2015 and i was advised to front loaded, also my husband included his 2018 tax return which was extremely long.

I am not sure if that is causing a delay and i should relax, or if there is a problem, we filled the check in both mine and my husbands names because we weren´t sure who should be on it.

I want to know if anyone else's application got received on feb 19, and they still havent gotten their check cash, and if should worry and contact lockbox support or just keep waiting and calling the bank every day about the check being cash.

I am super nervous because if they give it back we will need to fill under the new law, and that would be a lot of trouble and new forms, any advice or experience? thank you, and congratulations to all of you that got their NOA or receipt text.

Exactly! This is the scary part -- I've been so adamant about maintaining my status. Not taking unauthorized work, even checking with my DSO about volunteering opportunities to ensure they're not going to be misconstrued as work. Our international students' office fell apart in August (Director passed away, entire staff quit...) which is why my original OPT application was so late in the first place! I wanted to file in September, the day I became eligible.

So yes, I currently have a pending OPT and, hopefully soon, AOS. The OPT was received 35 days ago and I have the I-797C for that (which I included in my AOS package). My AOS package has been delivered (Hallelujah!) but not yet been accepted/cheques cashed, etc.

Hello guys! I sent my application on February 22nd thru USPS Priority Mail with signature, they just received it today and it was signed by a certain D Randall. I have a question for you guys, I’m freaking out about this, my application consists of 5 envelopes: I-485, I-765, I-864 (spouse), I-864 (joint sponsor), and I-130 with I-130A and proof of relationship in the last one. My issue is that I included my Cashier’s Check for $1,760 in the I-485 folder, where the cover letter is as well. Do you think they might have trouble finding it? Should I send an email to somebody letting them know the check is the first thing inside the I-485 folder? Another thing is that on the cover letters I put the address where USCIS receives applications from private couriers like DHL UPS.. instead of the lockbox address. Do you think that might me an issue or it doesn’t matter as they already accepted it at the lockbox address? Thanks to everyone who can give some advice on this :)
