They say here (link) that you will have to use the new form unfortunately. So I went to the website (link) and it only shows the new form i-864. So my educated guess is that you will have to use the new form :(

Thank you so much! Well It’s actully literally same form as the old one! I will just do it that way and hope for the best!

You NEED to submit 2picture of yourself for I-485 and 2 sepetate for the employment application.

The reason is they want 2 for many reasons but mainly the use one to attach to your application and the other one for your green card at the end. (same as passport, when you go to renew it or make one they always want 2!)

They will ask for more for sure as they need it!

Hopefully they won't just deny my application and just ask me to send the photos to them. Hvala!

They don’t deny for that, once the officer get’s your app he will go true it and see what’s missing and request what’s needes!

Nema na čemu! Sretno!

I filed on the same day and got confirmation from UPS that it was received in their mailroom but so far no email or text and they haven't cashed my check yet. Did you get confirmation of your payment being received?

Nothing yet! HBU?

It's not QUITE the same, there are some changes to the formatting and a couple of different questions (I just used my old one to fill out the new one now that I've missed the deadline and noticed a few small things) but yes - the main difference from before to know is the new form i-944 with accompanying evidence which it sounds like you don't need to do, which is good!

Hey guys! We filed for my AOS on 2/12/20 and it was delivered 2/17/20.
The check hasn’t been cashed yet and we haven’t received NOA1 either. Anyone else with that date that has had updates already? I am probably freaking out for no reason 😂

I take that back, I jsut got the texts an hour ago! And looks like case was updated today - they took the fee, so I should see the check cashed soon. :)

Congrats! A few days ago I noticed that they cashed my check but I have yet to receive any texts or emails so they probably didn't bother with my G-1145 so I will patiently wait for my NOA1. Which local office do you think your case will be going to?

Be sure to  double check for the current fees as fees do sometimes increase for the new year, so please check. Additionally check the forms as listed above i.e., current version and or edition date. Consider sending tax transcripts instead of the 1040, and W2's. Also consider preparing a cover letter for each form in addition to the main  cover letter. Hope this helps in your preparation of your AOS. When in doubt ask questions.

hello!  Thanks for starting this thread.  I really hoped i would be a february filer but my fiance just landed so we missed the 24th cut off.  We will be early march filers!! I do have a question - when my fiance landed the CBP Officers did not give him anything, was he supposed to get the I-94 or DS-3025 from the POE?

You get the I94 online and he should have gotten the 3025 from the medical.

Get several  copies and or make copies you'll need them.

They said they would mail the 3025 form to him.  Does that sound right and do you know what the timeline is to receive it?

Not sure about Nigeria but it does not sound right. They should have given it to him. Perhaps the Nigerian forum might answer better than I.
