thats pretty normal for EB. USCIS is waiving biometrics for EB or they are getting it from some where else.

well, when I called them gazillion times before to ask if they can re-use my biometrics and expedite EAD (was denied)Tier 2 officers said no “as it was not collected for the same purpose”.

There is no trust in USCIS so will update you when I get any updates.
Is there any approximate timeline when card is shipped after it being in production?

This isn’t an EB though, it’s FB AOS. So why the ref to EB?

Good morning everyone Just throwing my update out there. We had our biometrics taken on August 6th. Both the  I-765, and the I-485 were updated to " Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken on the 8th. When i woke up this morning the status for my I-485  was changed to Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview! I'm curious to see what happens next or how long it will take to get an interview, or if i get the combo card before hand.

Mine has been on "ready to schedule" for like 3 months now...

Spoke to Rep again today. Now they are declining to transfer to Level 2 for Biometrics appointment questions and they are getting nasty and rude.

That must have been new direction during their recent weekly meeting. They must have been bombarded with so many frustrated callers who are not taking their scripted narrative anymore.

Incompetence and denial is a strong drug at USCIS.

That's super annoying. What do they expect us to do in this mess they've created?

Do you think you'll try again, or did it seem like it's pointless to try now?

I’ve had so many conversations with different officers — both Tier 1 and 2 — since ASC re-opened. In spite of the inconsistency of their responses, what remains consistent was that a lot of them would try to guilt-trip me and use the, “it’s a pandemic. We’re reducing capacity blah blah blah” narrative.

I get it. I truly do. I would never knowingly put employees’ lives in danger. But come on! They’ve had months and months to prepare and yet they’ve only done something very last minute (read: June).

Do they really expect people to just sit down and wait when lives and livelihoods are at stake? 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I told my wife was what really upsets me it's how irrational and not logical this biometrics appointment process is, how can people that filed later get their biometrics appointment faster? If it's going to be slow and delayed, so be it for everybody not just for February people. And I also understand that their safety matter but if other places are open and no covid, why can't they?
