I got my biometrics appointment in the mail!! FINALLY! USCIS is no help at all. I called on Friday because I was out of town for the whole week and they said I was in line to get it done but I wasn't scheduled yet. Came home yesterday night and the letter was there. My appointment is tomorrow. Anyone knows how long until I get my EAP/AP approval? I am so happy, thank God!

Congrats to all now getting it.

Question-- hypothetically is this ok

1) Beneficiary takes biometrics on day 0

2) Beneficiary travels to home country on day 1

3) Beneficiary travels to country C on day 10

4) Petitioner (USC) joins beneficiary in country C and give them the EAD card on day (14) assuming it's come

5) Both beneficiary and petitioner travel back to USA, and beneficiary has card in hand on day 15+

travelling without advance parole approval means you have abandoned your case. Do not recommend travel until approval.  your airlines records will be flagged to USCIS so they will deny AP/I-485 as abandoned

I wasn't home for the whole past week so I am not so sure when it got here but thank God I came home last night. If I believed USCIS, I would've missed my appointment.

it  does count until you have card in hard. Approval document means nothing at CBP entry.  it sucks to be in the situation.

But she'd have it if I retrieved the card for her and met her in country C before re-entering USA

Hello Everyone, i was finally able to get a Case inquiry submitted (if it even does anything?) about my RFE response that’s been sitting there under their desk for 62 days.

I also asked again with a different Tier 1 if they could look into and follow up my EAD/AP too since it’s been 6 months or 24 weeks, and my case has also been sitting and forgotten under their desk as well.. probably hidden under a pile of half eaten Moldy  Ham sandwiches..

accrues fast food GIF

and they said they couldnt do that because my PD is 2/24/2020 so 6 months means i have to contact them again on 8/24/2020.. but i used a specific DAY COUNTER and it said it has been 24 weeks. I just politely said thanks, and disconnected.

congrats to those moving forward!! Please pray for the souls of our cases that are still in limbo 😂

Well it's in the nature of months that not all of them have exactly 28days/ 4 weeks. So if they say 6 months then they mean six calendar months and not 6 28 days cycle that you decided would be a month 😉

I really feel for you mean.

If you go here: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

It says case can be submitted for inquiry if submitted on or before Feb 13. You date (24th) is in 11 days so count on being able to file an inquiry on 8/21 (in fact I think you can do it online).
