This is 100% true, my personal experience from Aug 5 confirms that. ASC Philadelphia was operating at 15% capacity, number of people was limited, and the whole thing takes longer as they disinfect all surfaces after each customer

When I went to the ASC to try to convince them to walk in with my approval notice the security guard said that they are scheduling/allowing only up to 8 people per hour.

Got interview notice in the mail. August 19, which is pretty soon. We have 9 days to put everything together. Hope they won't cancel it this time..

Yay! Congratulations.

I called USCIS on Friday asking to speak to a Tier 2 supervisor as a few of you have done already. He told me to call at 8 am to do that. I called them this morning and I just got called back about 4 hours later.

The supervisor was Sanchez and she couldn’t do anything about scheduling an appointment.

Question 1: Can I schedule a biometrics appointment and I explained my reasons.
Answer 1: No we can’t schedule appointments you will have to wait for an appointment letter from the ASC.

Question 2: Do you have a time estimate for when I will receive the letter?

Answer 2: Unfortunately we don’t know when you will receive a letter due to the centers just reopening in late July.

Nothing we can do unfortunately.

OMG FINALLY

Had a tier 2 agent call us back. Begged to be rescheduled. Brought up court case where special dispensation was made. Says there's nothing he can do. Then he says wait a minute...

You just got scheduled for 8/24.

FINALLY.

I still hope USCIS gets sued (haha yeah right) to hell for putting people out of work for months. This is the worst government agency i've ever dealt with and that includes the IRS and Code Enforcement.

Now I wonder how long from when we have appointment to card in hand. We have a wedding in Mexico ...

OMG!!! I’m so happy for you. Remind me again: Did your ASC re-open on the 27th?

Also, did the officer reschedule you or did it happen on its own?

Yes, re opened 27th

No, I don't think the officer did anything, I think the appointment literally popped up as we were talking.

Nope. Only found out by talking to the agent.
