This afternoon we are going to drive down to the ASC and bring

1) Our original appointment notice for 3/18

2) Approval notice for 765 dated 7/16,

3) Decision from Subramanya stating that "ordered USCIS to produce cards within 7 days for putative class members.", of which we are one.

I am going to politely ask the guard to enter as the court has ordered cards to be produced and 7 days have elapsed. We will of course also explain that my wife has been out of work 1.5 months due to them not rescheduling her even though she was cancelled on the first day. We will be as empathetic as possible, but also firm. If we are denied, we will ask for the guards supervisor. If s/he refuses we will write down their name and information and tell them they will be named in a future Writ and may be deposed .

How’d your trip go? Any luck?

Terrible. Wasted an hour driving to be told by three different people that there is nothing they can do. Call the 1800 number they said. All i got was the name of the officer who told us to pound sand.

This whole situation is completely mad, so it's not weird if we go mad too!

I'm having mental breakdowns about every 2-3 days :(

It’s okay, I’m going through the same thing.

I feel so helpless, i also feel bad for my spouse who has to deal with my Breakdowns but can’t do much to help.. He does bring me snacks, so that makes me feel better.

You are not alone! Yesterday, I broke down from the stress of it all. Today. I woke up fatigued and worn down. My mind constantly goes through a mental gymnastics of sorts — going through from one emotion to another including frustration, sadness, madness, and any combination of those three. I have not been able to sleep well since the closures.

There is a special place in hell for people who enjoy making immigrants go through this type of bureaucratic nightmare.

Sending Virtual hugs to all of you guys!

It's funny because I actually AM the spouse (the petitioner). The pandemic has made us as one though-- we share the same feelings because we are together 99% of every day. For me I feel terrible because I feel like I have failed her and that the USA has failed her. She's from Sweden which is a pretty nice country so I have these unfounded fears that she's just going to leave and say F it to this country for the )@*$ she's going through.

At this point we'll all be naturalized before we get an EAD card

Again anything is possible! If they can schedule an AOS interview when you already have a GC they can do anything!

I can feel how frustrating you are...><

Thank you for trying and sharing the result! It saved my time, so I don't have to try it in San Diego.

I mailed my original biometrics appointment letter back with check on rescheduling request last week.

I was hoping I can be lucky to get a biometrics appointment as someone shared on reddit.

But I didn't get anything this week TT

have a good weekend!

hope we can get biometrics appointment or AOS interview appointment next week!
