Good luck! Let us know if you were successful. I tried on ASC re-opening and it was a no go.

I don't have a ton of confidence it will work, but in this case we 1) are approved and 2) have a document from a court demanding that we get cards within 7 days.

Fingers crossed for you guys!! ❤️ I hope it isn't too far a drive, in case the trip doesn't go as planned.

Is it odd to dream about getting Biometrics done? Does it indicate if one is going completely mad??

This whole situation is completely mad, so it's not weird if we go mad too!

I'm having mental breakdowns about every 2-3 days :(

You are not alone! Yesterday, I broke down from the stress of it all. Today. I woke up fatigued and worn down. My mind constantly goes through a mental gymnastics of sorts — going through from one emotion to another including frustration, sadness, madness, and any combination of those three. I have not been able to sleep well since the closures.

There is a special place in hell for people who enjoy making immigrants go through this type of bureaucratic nightmare.

I remember I was gonna go do a walking on the 17th because I was worried about how the covid situation was gonna develop. But I had a cut on my thumb and figured I'd let it heal another day, surely they wouldn't close down the next day, in the middle of the week, right?

Well, obviously I was wrong and was so mad at myself for months. I kept getting more and more frustrated and stressed out until they set a date of reopening. I figured I'd get in within the first 2 weeks, so no stress, it'll all get figured out soon. Well, guess I was wrong again.

Next time hopefully I'll learn not to get my hopes up too much. There's nothing worse than the feeling after the teeny bit of faith you have left is being crushed again.
