Received 3 NOA letters today (I didn't apply for AP card)

Update

Just received the Biometrics Notice. It's scheduled for Mar. 6. I will try to walk in on Monday, because I may need to back to my school on that day.

Hey yall! We sent our package off on 02/18/2020. UPS claims that it should be there by this Friday 02/21/2020. Praying for the best! Hoping we beat the 02/24/2020 deadline. 🙏

Yes, it takes awhile took us 5 weeks, as long as you got the letter they gave you when you applied. Check the save website and see if it was returned to requesting activity..

@Distantlove718 and @osally1, got this issue as well but rectified now.

Steps I took:

- called ssa 800 # but got nothing from there.

- checked save website and got info that DHS returned my application to SSA Maryland already.

- called local SSA office (Jax Florida) and they processed my application. SSA Maryland returned it approved and Jax office issued a receipt. Card to be sent within 2 weeks.

- went to local SSA office and got my number. Wife sweet-talked the clerk to give it to us verbally. 😉 but still waiting for the card.

Once I got my SSN, went to DMV and got my driver's license which is valid for a year. Canadian eh! 😉

Hi guys! I'm glad to have found this thread, its always helps to be in touch with people who are in the same process :) We just dodged a bullet by managing to get married and send my AOS application in two days, just in time to avoid the new rules I hope. Now the waiting begins again... Good luck everyone!!!

I was super hopeful that we were going to file in February, but we are still waiting for both our marriage license and the medical stuff to get finished up.

I am very lucky because I live in Illinois and it seems for the moment can continue to use the "old forms"

I have pretty much everything ready, just need to add the marriage certificates and the i-693 transcription info as soon as we get it.  Hoping we can get it all sent off before they announce that Illinois gets told to move over to the new stuff as well.

But I might be one of the first new March filers in that group, whenever it starts, at this point!

Congrats to everyone that has filed so far.

Just saw it st the USCIS page. Illinois is not longer excluded. The new rule is in affect there too from today on.

Yes, I saw that too - oh well, nothing I can do because we don't have our marriage certificate back!

I'll definitely be a March filer now, time to start learning how to do all of this!
