I am about to reach out to my Senator. I just need to recover first. Do you have any other advice on what to do?

Pester people until they relent and talk to you.

Phone calls are better than emails which are copy paste.

I don't think I have the answers because clearly I'm in the same position as you.

Maybe @James120383has more advice

Will do. Thank you. Also thank you for your experience @Maria&Wirbir! Calling them again now....

I’ve been reading a lot since February. I am a February filler based on K1 visa. My biometrics were canceled due to covid you all know my ASC opened on July 27th today I decided to call USCIS I speak with an agent and I tell them that I want to re schedule my Biometrics appointment the officer told me that he can’t and I just need to wait for the letter to come and if it didn’t come on a 90 days period they will re scheduled one for me. I tell them that I want to speak to a tier 2 they took my info and I had to wait like an hour. Tier 2 asked me some personal info and just scheduled me and appointment for AUGUST 24TH. FINALLY!! 🎉🎉

How were you able to convince them to schedule from their end? Been trying to do that every single day and the usual response is always, “We cannot schedule any appointment from our end.”

Yep same here. All they did was make a service request that they have 30 days to respond to.

That's awesome for you! It's encouraging to see movement -- the squeaky wheel gets the grease, I guess. Our ASC also opened on the 27th, and we've not heard yet, but anecdotally people who have filed as late as April/May have received biometrics appointments at our ASC.

You're the second person in this thread today to mention a 90 day wait from the ASC opening date, and I just read a similar account on Reddit -- a 90 day wait. This is different from what I was told last week, which was 30 days. Very frustrating to see the timeline continually shifting towards longer waits and being powerless to do anything about it.

Our PD is 02/25, and we've not seen any movement at all. No RFEs, no EAD/AP approval, no biometrics appointments, nothing. At the very least, I'd be satisfied waiting with biometrics in the system, because I know our case could be worked on rather than being stalled in biometric-less purgatory.

02/22/20 -- AOS package (I-130/I-485/I-864/I-765/I-131) sent to USCIS

02/25/20 -- Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

03/17/20 -- Cheques cashed and text messages received

03/20/20 -- Received NOAs in the mail (I-130/I-486/I-765/I-131)

05/04/20 -- Received I-693 courtesy letter

10/11/20 -- Received biometrics notice (finally! Yay!)

10/21/20 -- Biometrics (I485/I765 Code 3, I-131 Code 2 in Hartford, CT)

10/23/20 -- Biometrics applied to all cases (I-485/I-765/I-131)

10/27/20 -- Case ready to be scheduled for an interview (location unknown 😅)

11/12/20 -- Second biometrics appointment (I-131, Code 2, in Pittsburgh, PA)

01/20/21 -- I-765 Expedite Request Submitted

01/29/21 -- I-765 Expedite Request Approved

02/01/21 -- I-765/I-131 Approved

02/16/21 -- Interview was Scheduled

02/17/21 -- Interview confirmed to be scheduled at the wrong FO, request to reschedule interview initiated

03/16/21 -- Interview cancelled, entered into scheduling queue for the correct FO

05/14/21 -- Interview rescheduled

06/25/21 -- Interview completed in Pittsburgh, approved on the spot 🙏❤️

You should be getting approval soon. Looks like technically you are a March filer?

I definitely thought I was a February filer, but I could be looking at the wrong date. Isn't it based off of the priority date on the NOAs? If so, they're dated Feb 25, 2020. Am I looking at the wrong date?

Yeah it is, I was just confused because you said you didn't get text messages until March

Oh yea, we were confused about that too. It was an excruciating wait, that's for damn sure. We filed before the I-944/public charge rule came into effect.

I just spoke with a tier 1 representative. She informed me that they are required to tell people that their biometrics will be scheduled within 30 days of their ASC opening and that they do not have further information. Only that if you filed in February you will be able to do a biometrics appointment before the “furlough.”

Not to take the wind out of your sails, even you spoke to a tier 2 officer some of them too just tell you things you want to hear to get you off the phone. Not saying this one did that, but you need to be cognizant of that fact and also cognizant that nothing is definite until it is in your hand in your case the appointment letter and on occasion even if it is in your hand its not final. I'm speaking from experience. Sometimes USCIS can tell us things that makes us so happy we lose sight of the real deal. As many tier 2 officers and call center operators there are at the call center for USCIS there are as many different answers too!  I'm hoping in your case that your appointment was scheduled.

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

He/she should be getting an email with the confirmation as another person on here did.

We all filed in February. I was never told this though.

I 'm thinking the same as @fromsweden. I have never been told anything like this. In fact, since they just told me to wait another 90 days, I have maybe 10% faith that all of us will get in before the potential furlough.

@fromsweden I have called a number of times and have never been told this until today. I just thought I would share any “new” information. Not sure how true this is but if I hear anything different tomorrow🙃 I will post it.
