We received our approved NOA back on December 10th, 2019.  I started reading here that it can take about 30 days for them to process it at NVS and to forward it to the embassy in Montreal.  Should I start calling as I have not received any notice as of yet that they have sent it or even received anything?  Is this typical?  I went through Rapid Visa and I thought everything should have been paid for, but do I have to pay for the visa as well?  I would hate to think it's been delayed because I haven't logged in somewhere to pay something.  Thank you for any input.

That name has a vote of no confidence here

Depends on your agreement with them but really anyother payment that should be made should be from your beneficiary's s country so I doubt it

Its been more than a month,if I were you I would reach out to NVC ASAP for your case number so your fiance can finish up and get an interview

Since you said approved, I'm assuming you're referring to NOA 2, Not NOA1. In our case, It took them 30 days between NOA2 and NVC and another 15 days to the time we got something form the consulate with our packet 3 details. It could be consulate dependent so it would be helpful  if you complete your profile and time line so members of this site could better answer your questions. You can also call the NVC at 603-334-0700 but expect long wait. Have your NOA2 handy.

We have an entire topic devoted to what takes place from NOS2 to Embassy. YOu can find it here https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/727414-january-2020-k-1-noa2-to-nvc-to-embassy/#comments

If you download the PDF file from the first post you will have all the information on what happens through this stage. How track your case and when something will happen.

Then once you follow your case to the embassy this is what you can expect.

You can't hurry it along at all. You must wait till you see your date on CEAC change to ready two times. The second change you can send in your P3. A copy of the P3 is linked below. Comply with what they ask for in P3 (the actual one they send you) by sending them a copy of the signed P3 checklist, your DS-160 confirmation, and your Passport Bio. Then they send you P4. Then they tell you to register to schedule and you'll wait some more for interviews to open up, which only happens once a month during the last week of the month for two months ahead UNLESS you are lucky and you scoop up a cancellation. Get your medical appointment first so you can schedule the interview shortly afterward.

For all things dealing with the US Consulate in Canada's head on over to the sub-forum for Canada where they will answer your questions for the processing of your visa from their personal experience. Link: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/93-canada/
