Going to Vegas for a conference next week. Saw a slew of "filipino" restaurants listed on: http://filipinolasvegas.com/

Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

Wow it is nice to see that there is Joilbee and Chow King in Vegas. Hmm i wonder why there is none in Hawaii yet. Of course the best filipino food is home cooked kind. It is party season here in Hawaii, time to eat alot of filipino food.

Darn, I wish you would have come to the source! I'm Gregg and I created this site for the community to use. I just found this post today on google so i registered to reply. The site is currently self funded (other than the $10 a month we make from google ads ...lol), and is really here for all to use. I don't mean this to be a commercial, but i will be adding other community features so please check back.

All of the restaurants listed in this thread are great but many are buffet and fast food. If you wanted a real "dinner" experience, we say try Salo Salo Grill on Jones just a couple of blocks south of Spring Mountain Road. They even put kalamansi in the pancit... and that's hard to find in las vegas!!!! Click "Restaurants>Full Dining" on the search drop down box.

Also, if you are visiting Las Vegas, I suggest you take a drive (or cab) from the "strip" right up Spring Mountain Road to about Jones (only about three miles, quick drive). You'll see all of our Asian restaurants, businesses... etc. and even our "Chinatown." Over 50,000 pinoy here already and growing daily. The Jollibee (red ribbon, chowking) just opened a couple of months ago).

Feel free to email me. This is not my main job so please be patient. I will help when i can. Also tell everyone about the website and let them use it too. The quickest way to search with the the "Quick Search" B0X. You can also contact me through the contact page on filipinolasvegas.com

Bye friends... Salamat x3 ... Gregg :)

We've found one out here that we really like... Salo Salo. There's a few a them scattered about in the LA area. Great food and reasonably priced!

...the few times we went to the local Chow King, we were a bit disappointed...not even comparable to the ones in the Philippines.
