Hi,

I started getting excited on the 8th of June when my application(I-129f) started getting touched for the first time; it got touched on the 8th, 10th, 11th and 12th. The I-130 was not getting touched at all......; so for the first time in 3 months i called USCIS, the call got transfered to the CSC; i spoke to the nicest person there, spent a good 15 minutes on the phone with me and explained that, the application was transfered from the MSC on the 19th April but only reached them and was officially entered into the system on the 8th of June....... This huge time gap is attributed to the volume of applications and how busy the CSC has been.

Also he said if you ever call and get routed to the CSC, then the last update date on the application will change as there has been an enquiry. So if you get a touch after a call to CSC, it is no touch at all.

Bottom line, for those with my similar timeline we are not really close to an approval, this is because it was in limbo between the MSC and CSC for a whole 2 months almost.

If anyone has information to confirm or deny what i have posted about; i would sure like to here it.

I hope you're wrong, but it sounds probable. It makes the text of the letter from the USCIS sound a bit ironic: "This is to advise you that in order to speed up processing we have transferred the above case to the following USCIS office for processing".I made a trip to Japan to see my wife and kids last month, but one week is not much when you've otherwise not seen them since Jan 1st.
