So, my fiance received an email stating that the NVC has forwarded our petition to the US consulate in Manila and that the US consulate will get in touch with me. I am a little worried because the mailing address my fiance had filled out had kissing some details. I also checked the website on how to apply for K1 visa and it said there that i can call or book for an interview online.. Should I wait or is it okay to schedule interview even if the US consulate still haven't contacted me?

Time to move your questions to the Philippines forum as the visa process is unique to that embassy.    https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

The embassy from NVC has you MNL#, print out two copies of that as you will need it for completing the medical at St. Luke's

Here is a link to the guide for the visa process in the Philippines   https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/us-embassy-usem.html

Your CEAC status needs to show READY before you schedule your interview.   There is a link to CEAC in the guide I gave you a link to.

1 - Pay visa fee at BPI

2- Wait 12-24 hrs after paying visa fee before scheduling your interview (holidays and weekends don't count).  Online is the easiest, details in the guide

3- Complete the medical (doesn't need to be done in the order I have this listed).   You can complete the medical and interview within the same week if you need to, just make sure to allow 24 hrs between the medical (2 day process) and the interview.

And one other thing to to get handled -  CFO  ...  info in the guide.

Thanks so much! I didn't know i had to fill out the ds-160 form and wait till it shows ready.

Now all i gotta do i wait. Lol

One question tho, do I have to make an appointment in St. Lukes to do the medical exams? Or do I wait for the consulate to contact me or email me to do the medical exam?

Thanks again!

No appt for SLEC, medical is walk-in .. first come - first served      With that said, don't show up at O' dark-thirty and stand in line for hours, wait an hour or two past when SLEC opens .. the lines will be cleared and it is smooth sailing to get day 1 day completed.     SLEC will want 2 copies of the email/letter from NVC ..
