No one here is questioning anything about your character or culture.  Just pointing out why conceiving a child  does not eliminate USCIS concerns about the relationship.  That's all.  People have had children together while committing immigration fraud in the past.

In the context of this thread, I think it's extremely strong evidence.  It's not like USCIS announced the visit and therefore these people got a make-shift baby to show they are parents.  I am not sure what other evidence they could want.  I am not sure if USCIS has the birth certificate or not.

 

On the bright side, if/when OP gets a GC, it should be a 10 year card.

I'm just stating that having a child does not make a marriage bona fide or not. Even scammers want children. Some want them more than others. People have absolutely used a child in the past to attempt to obtain immigration benefits via marriage.

That does not mean in any way that I believe that is the case here. There is absolutely nothing to suggest that applies in this case.

 

I would add that both parents taking care of the child together is favorable, though. That's one thing people in real marriages do.

Note the distinction between "having a child" vs "jointly taking care of the child". In the OP's case, this appears to be what is happening and that is a good sign IMO.
