A picture(s) can help but they are not foolproof. They can be photoshopped, so they are not a strong indicator of meeting together. Passport stamps are the #1 evidence of meeting and importantly they are what the USCIS is looking for. There are others. Follow the link I provided in my posting above and read and you will see other recommendations to use to answer that question.

Also, here is a letter that normally or has in the past sent to the petitioner to answer what they are looking for.

They clearly proved they had been to each other's countries with passport stamps so statistically, the odds of photos  being photo shopped at that point has to be next to zero.  Logically, if you are going to do immigration fraud and have spent all the time, planning and money  going to each other's countries, getting false statements and fake dinner receipts and or hotel receipts is the easy stuff.  The USCIS agent failed horribly on the logic end of their investigation. The more I learn about how uncountable and unregulated the agents are, I completely understand the 5-7 plus months wait time.  They get to make a decision on someone's life based on their opinion, and that's scary. The whole process need a complete overhaul but that's just my 2 cents.

Congratulations! Join us in the SEPTEMBER 2020 K-1 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY thread and download the PDF file on the first post of the first page for tips, tricks and hacks to follow your case to the embassy. I'll post both links below:

https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/746671-september-2020-k-1-noa2-to-nvc-to-embassy/

PDF with tips, tricks, and hacks. BTW this PDF is updated from time to time so you might check back to ensure you have the latest information.

Also, we need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

I feel like petitions received by USCIS on the 28th of Feb. are cursed. Based on what I've seen on the Case Tracker app (I used the search trick), only two petitions received on the28th have been adjudicated so far (one in July and the other one in August 19). No activity since Aug.19:((( It's sad and discouraging.

Same here. Mine was 2/26 and I feel cursed as well. I see others getting approved or RFE and no status change on mine after 191 days. I’m losing hope and my fiancé is too. We are both so sad and we can’t even visit because of Covid restrictions 😭

I feel the same :( @SB1089 @sweetlana still nothing here and 211 days here. I already lost hope and waiting for Tuesday to come to open up an inquiry. Uscis slowed down big time since September started and im not sure why. The furlough didn't happen either and they were on a role last month :(

Actually I called USCIS last week or so. I knew they wouldn’t be able to give me any additional info but I was irrationally upset and emotional and haven’t seen my fiancé in more than a year. The woman who helped me was very nice but she told me that if 7 months pass with no response then I can open an inquiry. Otherwise it’s just more waiting.

Yeah same here. Hopefully it comes before 7 months passes if not then opening up an inquiry is the way to go

@SB1089 do you think it will be faster by opening an inquiry? I'm not sure how an inquiry goes. I just know when the 7 months is up we have to open one. Would they look at the case right away?

I honestly don’t even know how an inquiry works. If they’ll even look at it right away or it’ll be like another 2-3 months. My worst fear is after waiting 7 months I’ll get denied and be back to square one in terms of bringing my fiancé here.

It doesn't do anything to speed up the petition adjudication.
