Hey everyone 👋🏾,

In honor of Valentine’s Day, we mailed our packet via USPS. Monday was a holiday but I tracked the USPS delivery and it states it arrived in Dallas this morning. I’m hoping to see my personal check has been cashed (never thought I’d say that lol ) within the next few weeks.

Welcome to the thread!

Welcome to the thread. It's a long road ahead from here but once you have your approval things have a tendency to move fast. So, sit back and garner your best patience and in about 5-6 months you may hear something. BTW, if you provided everything asked for and you are friendly there is a very good chance you are approved.

We received our Form I-797C last day by mail. The notice day on the form is 12 Feb.

Now, we are going to send some additional information and use the format you provided here. However, I'm going to renewal my residency card and passport, too.

I was wondering wait for all of them to be ready and send them together or just send the first supplement and then sending the other docs later?

You haven't provided enough information as to what you are trying to accomplish. What is "some additional Information?" Where is that requirement coming from?" Why are you renewing a residence card and your passport?" Will they be expiring soon?" What instructions are you following?"

Ok, well my fiance's divorce date is near our first date (one month earlier) however my fiance has separated since 2016 and his ex even has a child from her boyfriend at that time. But he was living outside the US and when he filed his divorce case and got back to the US, he had to wait for a period. Anyway.. we forgot to mention it.

About my passport and residency card which I sent to USCİS, both of them were valid. My passport will be expired on OCT but for other trips and Schengen visa, I need a passport with longer than 6 months. Then I have to apply for new one.

well, what should we do?

As long as the two of you have met within two years prior to you filing the I-129f and that he was free to marry when you filed the I-129f then you are ok. Yes you will need a passport that has more then 6 months validity to travel to the US once you have your visa. Start now to get it renewed.

Is public charge going to have an impact on K1 visa cases?

If you are referring to the new regulations many of us are just as unsure as you. We do know that those who filed their K1 application better know as the I-129f BEFORE Feb 24th are not affected by this new regulation. This topic is being talked about in the general forum section.

My fiance posted our I-129F form on the 02/02/2020. We got NOA1 on the 10/02/2020. I am glad to have found this forum. Let the waiting game begin. I am the beneficiary.
