USCIS is notoriously bad about sending test messages even if you use the G-1145 E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance. The app is a useful source but, in the end, USCIS will mail a hard copy to the petitioner. Therefore, you are not left out in the dark, just that your expectation wasn't met.

FINALLY got approved! 🙌   Out NOA-1 was February 12th, had a very long wait but so happy and relieved. Hopefully everyone on here waiting gets some good news soon!

I was approved July 30th NOA2 Feb 19th yay.

We just got our approval today! Our NOA1 was February 25th. No RFE. I stopped looking everyday and then looked this morning.  it’s coming everyone just be patient. ❤️

It was created so you didn't have to ask a question that has been asked and answered. Just saying. I had a question. After the approval letter comes, what other fees are their? My lawyer only told me that there's only 1 fee which is for the embassy. Is that true? Or is there more stuff to pay along the way. I just want to be ahead and know what its like afterwards.

Medical and Embassy interview fees are for the next step.

Typically, it's $265 for the interview. Medical can be all over the board.

 

You must pay all medical examination fees, including x-ray and blood test fees, directly to the examining physician. The current exam fee is USD $415.00 for applicants aged 15 years and older, and USD $338.00 for children 14 years of age and younger. The clinic only accepts U.S. dollars. Applicants are responsible for the cost of any required follow-up tests or vaccinations.
