NOA2 received today!

Total of 99 days between my NOA1 and NOA2 dates. :)

Now it's all down to waiting for the embassy in Bangkok to reopen. Well, maybe the extra delay will allow me enough time to ship over affidavit of support, etc, since shipment to Thailand seems to be slowed down as well. lol

Best wishes to you all!

You're onto the next steps. Congratulations. You don't have to ship your financial documents you can email them and they can be printed on the other end. Nothing in the instructions below ask for the documents to be "originals".

Affidavit of Support
• Your petitioner must present evidence that neither the principal applicant nor any dependent applicants (if applicable) will become a public charge in the United States. The petitioner’s income must meet 125% of the Poverty Guidelines for immigrant visa applicants.
IRS Tax Transcripts are available online and a tax transcript may be submitted in lieu of a tax return for the same year.
IRS Verifications of Non-filing are available online.

Thanks, Greenbaum. About the affidavit of support, I was basing my assumption off the Bangkok Embassy's Packet 3, which states to "Submit originals of the following documents," of which the affidavit of support is listed under.

https://th.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/90/k-packet-3-instruction-july2019-english.pdf

I've done some searching on the forum to see what others have done, but there doesn't seem to be a clear answer, so I'll be safe and use the original documents if possible. Instead of shipping, I might be able to bring them to my fiance in person as soon as the ban on incoming international flights is lifted.

This is the first embassy that requires "all" evidence to be original. Most official documents i.e. birth certificate, divorce certificate etc. to be original but not simple forms such as the I-134, Affidavit of Support. You could find help on this subject in the regional sub-forum for your country (listed under the tab "forums" at the top of the page) and you can use your flag in your profile by selecting it and it will take you to a page that has additional information about your country. Or you can avoid all this and do what you stated in your reply and that is take the documents with you. Good luck and stay engaged.

It's wonderful to see all these approvals. I hope ours will come in soon. Our status hasn't changed and there's no sign of an RFE so far so we remain positive.

Well, It seems that Ankara Embassy won't give appointments until Feb 2021😌. Are there any ways to change my interview embassy while my NOA2 has not been issued yet?

Visiting your embassy's website there is no mention of that only the March notice of shutting down. Do you have a source for your information?

That's interesting. I tried replicating his results but was unable to locate the specific page he was referring to. Thanks for the heads up. Keep in mind that this is a very fluid time we are in and things change from day to day. I would not make any plans on published information from an embassy till you are closer to that date. Be prepared to move quickly if things open earlier then posted. Good luck and stay engaged.

But if it is a case, are there any solutions for it? Can I request NVC to change my embassy? I was hoping that my interview will be around September ☹️

You're danged if you do and you are danged if you don't. No one can say with any certainty which way you should go with your case interview. If you transfer who knows how long that will take. We have seen 30 to 90 days under "normal" conditions. It may be longer it may be shorter. It's a Las Vegas game of chance. I recommend just waiting and playing this out with your current embassy as you may make a move that sets you back months. Just my opinion.

Its been almost 4 months since I've been waiting for NOA 2. Has anyone else gotten the NOA 2? I also checked that CSC has been really slow since the past 2 weeks

You still within the processing times advertised by USCIS. Also, just a few from Feb have received an approval. You are still weeks from getting your NOA2.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

You updated and completed your timeline and I appreciate that as the information that we reply will be tied sometimes to your timeline BUT more importantly down the road we will respond with specific information for your embassy. Your profile should also show to us what your country your embassy is situated. Most here have a flag in their profile whereby we readily have that information at hand and my second part of my requests shows how to update your profile with your country.

Thanks for your understanding and completing your profile. Good luck and stay engaged.
