CEAC updated yesterday for me, and again today as I just received an interview date.

What do you mean by invoice number? It wasn't a question listed for me when I registered.

I called embassy he told me I have to registered and he create account for me before I got email from CSRA but unfortunately that embassy didn’t give me my account number and passport

Here is what I have on the preparation for your interview at the US Embassy Canada. I am sure you will find your answer there. Canada is a bit different with the embassy approving you to schedule an interview but only after you have completed and returned the P3 letter. Once you do that they will send you the P4 letter (most embassies do not use a P4 letter) with what documents are required for the interview.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.

Can you go into your profile and update the visa that you are chasing and also, :time:I beleive I posted instructions, step by step, how to do these two important pieces of information. When finished it should look similar to others. Good luck and stay engaged.

In regards to duration of time being in the consulate office from start to finish.

The interview will last about 5 min. The CO has their mind already made up before the interview starts. If there are any red flags prior or during the interview, then expect additional time. I have seen 10 min to 30 min before the CO makes thier final call.

As far as how long to expect totally that depends on the embassy and how long interviews are taking in total. No one can say for sure but allow a min of 4 hours. Usually you are out in less than that.

Thank you!

O-ur interview in Kingston, JA was at 2:15pm.  We were right on time.  I dropped him off and parked across the street.  I didn't go in because I had arrived the day before and was in quarantine, but wanted to be there  - that made allllll the difference!  He came out about an hour later.  The new Covid interviews were all together, with the interviewer behind a shield.  There is a podium with a microphone where the interviewee stands in front of all of the room of people scheduled for the day.  They ask a number of questions of everyone and you wait while everyone gets their turn.

Hi guys! Question: if we are using a co sponsor for k1 , the petitioner + the co sponsor has to fill out the I 134 . The co sponsor does taxes with their spouses, does the spouse have to fill out I134 also? the person qualifies by himself to be a co sponsor.

Also do they need ALL these documents: bank statement, paystub, w2, taxes, letter from employer?  or taxes, paystub, letter from employer, w2 will suffice? Thank you.

No, the spouse of the co sponsor does not have to fill out the I-134, at least not for my country.

Hello,

We have our interview scheduled for November 12 2020 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
I have noticed that the police report from Croatia is 1 year & 3 months old.

My fiancee is of Croatian nationality but living in UAE. She did visit Croatia a month ago for a week, but hasn’t lived there in ages.

I am wondering if we would need to re-issue another police certificate because current certificate is over a year old.

I found this on travel.gov

ImportantPolice certificates expire after one year, unless the certificate was issued from your country of previous residence and you have not returned there since the police certificate was issued. If at the time of your interview the following three items are all true, you must bring a new police certificate to your visa interview:

  • You are more than 16 years old;
  • The police certificate submitted to NVC was obtained more than one year ago; and
  • You still live in the country that issued the certificate

Does that mean we don’t need a new police certificate since she doesn’t / hasn’t live in Croatia after issuance of the report?

The visiting part is OK as he has not lived there since getting the police certificate. So, the report you have is still valid.

Confirm this with the embassy P3 letter that I will supply the link to below. It's not in English so I am unable to confirm or deny the information.
