That's determined by the action on your case. There is no "yardstick" to which the status is measured against so we can't say.

 

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. No, but we just received an e-mail from CSRA Visa Information to complete registration for courier service.

E-mail started out as follows:

"This is in regards to your recent Immigrant Visa application.

The US Consulate in Montreal intends to schedule your Immigrant Visa appointment."

When you either call NVC (instructions are in the PDF) or they mail your case number you can either ask for the invoice Id number, or you will see it in the letter. The letter is not sent out till the file leaves NVC to the embassy, but the embassy is responsible for contacting and releasing your file from NVC. 

 

There is a PDF file on the first page first post that discusses all the possible questions you will have at this stage. Download and use where it will fit your needs.

CEAC updated yesterday for me, and again today as I just received an interview date.

What do you mean by invoice number? It wasn't a question listed for me when I registered.
