Hi everyone!

Been lurking this forum for the past few months! Just received my Noa2 yesterday! Checking out that packet that you linked @Greenbaum thanks so much for all your work! Question is there a P3 for Macedonia and a Macedonian sub forum? No luck finding either so if you could link them both it would be much appreciated.

Many thanks!!

Many thanks!!

I don't have a P3 for your country. If you receive one I would appreciate you sharing it with me so I can share with others that come behind you.

You can find the sub-forum for your country or region by going up to the blue ribbon and select "Forums" and then scroll 3/4 of the page down and look for the link. Best of luck to you.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

trying to do the DS-160 but Ceac site is giving issues on all browsers. Seems like a common thing from old posts 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

See if this helps:  https://ceac.state.gov/GENNIV/Help/Content/Recovering an Application after Session Time Out.htm and/or what's below:

  • Use Chrome as your browser. Many have reported no problems when using Chrome
  • Use your browser's private or incognito mode.
  • Disable browser plugins.
  • Use only 1 tab when filling out the form.  Do NOT have the form open on multiple tabs.
  • Press "SAVE" every time you finish a page of the form.
  • If the session times out again:
  • Clear browser cookies and cache.
  • Close the browser (not just the tab), wait a minute, re-open browser.
  • Retrieve application and continue filling out the form.

Hello all! So glad to make it over here. I read through all of the posts and the PDF as well (thank you @Greenbaum). Was just notified that the petition was approved today - currently waiting to receive NOA2 in the mail. Although my fiance is Venezuelan, he is a Mexican resident and lives in Mexico City. From what I gather, the consulate he will be going through is the one in Juarez? Of course it would be more convenient if it were in Mexico City, but it sounds like they don't process K1 visas there. Any other links to info regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats to everyone who has already received their case numbers!!

First you need to change your country in your profile. The country should be the country in which you plan to interview in.

Second,

P3 Letter

Keep in mind that a forum like this one is for initial bonding with others who are along the same timeline as you for initial processing. The initial application is the same no matter where in the world you are. But, having said that, once you get your approval (NOA2 text message or email), you should also check in with your country's sub-forum to get a better understanding of the process for the Embassy that you will be interviewing with, and to get direct answers from those who have completed the steps you are about to at the US Embassy - Juarez Mexico.

Get the Juarez K1 Embassy instructions at http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/K1/CDJ%20-%20Ciudad%20Juarez.pdf (Spanish) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cBWgGJr4a5ay3b4OV28_dC3pgf63ZUr-/view?usp=sharing (English) as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use this website as a checklist. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed.
