I just emailed them (again) to inquire and attached my letter from the Dept of State saying it was sending the case file to the Embassy, dated 3/31 and the completed DS-160 confirmation.   We have received notification that it has been received, but zero acknowledgement from the Embassy and no further communication.

 

I am currently composing a letter to my senators!  This is some B.S.!!

Hello, Writing to share the good news. We have received an email from the Abu Dhabi Embassy that they will resume interviews for K1 cases starting the 17th September

I email them every few weeks mostly I get auto replies too or no response so don't know why today was different. It is ridiculous! But trying to keep faith alive.

As I say, "Trust the process!"  Congratulations. Be sure to check your visa when it is issued for any mistakes. Be sure to pack the "do not open" envelope in your carryon as you don't want it lost before arriving in the USA. Good luck in your new life I hope that it is full of happiness.

I guess there is still hope! I have already started looking into getting married February 2021 to do the CR1 if we don't receive an interview. Didn't want to spend more money into a visa that the consulate is not processing (MRV fee, new police record etc)

 

We shall see

I did too!!!

 

I've already replied to my email thread with it as an attachment to the Kingston Embassy asking when they will implement and when I should expect to hear from them to schedule our appointment!

 

Fingers crossed for us ALL!!

Let me know what they say! I was thinking about emailing them too but decided to see if tomorrow or sometime this week they will update us
