How cool is that. Now the question - Do you know what to do next?

I think there was a question in there somewhere. Did you miss it @lady8lu?

Hi! Where can we see what Noa2 date NVC is processing at the moment? I called NVC earlier he told me about it but I can’t find it in the department of state website.

This isn't specific to K-1, but perhaps it doesn't matter:

It's only updated once a week.

Received our NOA2 on January 29th. Just received my email today that our case has been forwarded to the embassy in Sydney. I did the DHL tracking hack and it says it will be delivered by this Friday. We've got the DS-160 ready to submit and ready to the pay the visa fee. Fiance has been getting his Hep A and Hep B vaccines but they both require 3 rounds so will just take proof of what he has so far to his medical (he received them before but had a stem cell transplant in 2017 and no longer has immunity to those). I requested my tax transcripts from the IRS over the phone on February 3rd and I'm still waiting to receive those to complete the I-134. I think we're on track with everything for now. Getting nervous I'm going to forget something. @Greenbaum Do you have a copy of the P3 for Australia? I believe I've found it from another user in the Australia and New Zealand forum but I want to be sure. Thanks!

Embassy website

Last go to the top of this page and under the tab "portals" on the blue ribbon choose it and then search for your country. Lots of information there.

When executing your AFP be sure you use "You would choose the Commonwealth employment/Purpose for your Purpose Type and then Code 33 for Immigration/Citizenship as your Purpose of Check."

Also, there is a recent write up of someone's medical experience here:

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

As a fellow Aussie I am so excited for you!
Do you have a list of the needles that we need so I can start getting them too? I think I am already fully vaccinated but I want to go to my doctor to check ASAP.

My fiancé has had to get varicella (chicken pox), MMR, and Hep A and B. He's had them all already but he lost his immunity after his stem cell transplants because his immune system was wiped basically. So you'll either need the varicella vaccine if you haven't had chickenpox or a blood test confirming you have had it. My fiancé had the blood test done at GP to be sure because its free with the GP. They are also covering his Hep A and B vaccines so the only vaccine he had to pay for was the varicella which is a one time jab. MMR and Hep B I think are common in Australia so you may only be lacking Hep A. I think there's an official list on the travel.gov site. Definitely recommend doing it with the GP before the medical to save money.

If you refer to the PDF there is a section that I added on vaccinations on the last page.

Called NVC today waited on hold for 38 minutes and received my case number today. The lady stated the number was just generated today.

Note if you call and it says we are currently busy and hangs up keep calling.

Noa2 was exactly 2 weeks ago 😁

That was fast. Normally 30 days to NVC and yours was two weeks. Follow the next steps from the PDF. Instructions are at the top of the page.
