I'm sure they have the process for the sending of your medical to the embassy post haste. You're getting closer, but you are moving in the forward direction. Stay engaged and you should be fine. With not many interviews and taking their medical it should be a breeze to get this completed.

The information is out there and has been said many times. You are not here for six years hearing the same question asked over and over. I even have people who post the same question just after it has been asked in a previous post above theirs. People don't read each entry, or they wouldn't ask the question. I created a step by step guide so they wouldn't have to ask the same question.

“It is better to keep one’s mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.” Good luck and stay engaged.

Greenbaum, do you know the email address of manila US embassy where I can send my mail about my extension of my K1-visa approved petition expired?

I'm sure that the embassies have already put in place the plan to extend NOA2's without the need of hundreds sending requests. I don't see an urgency to continue to contact the embassy. Here is a good source of information and if you still want to contact the embassy either use the link below to retrieve that bit of information or go to the website for USEM as most items like that are listed.

I'm a bit bummed because even though the officer said my case was approved as soon as they get the medical and kept our passports. Told me it should be done by end of next week and I will be fine to fly when I want to.. It still sucks to see the refused status on the CEAC website. It's what I expected but lol

Refused status is only a terminology and does not reflect the reality of your case. You're not approved until the visa is issued. You are currently in "administration processing" (AP) but they now code it as "refused" status. Once they issue the visa your CEAC status will change to issue. I recommend not purchasing airline tickets unless they are refundable without penalty or your reservation can be change without a penalty. Good luck and stay engaged.

Oh really? Everyone else I read said they had AP so I thought I was the odd one out! I feel much better now. He said it should be good by the end of next week so I will just wait until then.
I already have tickets but only because United had a deal where if you purchase you could have unlimited flight changes for a year. Would rather do that than buy later and have to pay to change if Australia is slow letting me out. :)

That "status" wording changed on March 3, 2020 from AP designation to "refused". As a whole, nothing really changed procedurally. Anyways, you have your ducks in a row so it sounds like your wrapping things up there in Aussie land and looking forward to being in the States with your fiancé where you'll have a whole new set of tasks to manage. I know you have said that you have children coming with you and if their adjustment was a concern of yours take it from someone who also had K-2s who came with their mother and mine adjusted rather well. Good luck and stay engaged. Safe travels.

Status changed twice today
It was Refused - Immigrant
Then Application Received - Non-Immigrant

and now at the end of the day
Administrative Processing - Non-Immigrant

Hoping it means issued soon!

You will see immigrant twice, which you have, and you will see non-immigrant just before issue, which you have. You will see something today or Monday. I'm betting today. God's speed and have a safe trip.
