Do all embassies accept payment when the DS-160 is filled out?

I have filled out the form for my Jamaican fiance and didn't find anywhere to pay the fee anywhere?  Do some embassies allow online payments and other require cash?  This is so confusing that there are separate processes.

I don't recall if I shared the interview preparations for Jamica with you as that is where that information is. If you do not have a copy let me know and I post one for your use. Here is the answer to your question.

Go to: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-jm/iv/information/iv_overview - first you must create a profile.
If you haven't done so already, the beneficiary needs to complete the DS-160, upload a passport pic,
e-sign and submit it. MAKE SURE TO PRINT A COPY OF THE CONFIRMATION PAGE - YOU
WILL NEED IT FOR THE MEDICAL AND INTERVIEW (I would recommend printing at least 2 copies
just to have a spare or even more). If you (the beneficiary) do not have the confirmation page with
you during the medical exam and interview you will not be able complete the medical or interview.
After you are done with the DS-160 and creating your profile the website approves, follow the steps to
schedule your interview (interview must be scheduled first before the medical exam - only
required for Jamaica). After you paid the visa fee, and scheduled the interview, make sure to print
the interview confirmation as you will also need this to take with you to the medical exam and
interview.

Indonesian embassy stated this:

"U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and those holding valid immigrant visas on the effective date of the Proclamation, are not subject to the proclamation. No valid visas will be revoked under this proclamation. This proclamation does not apply to nonimmigrants or K (Fiance) visa holders."

So i believe K1 visa is not affected by the proclamation?

But my question is...  even if it doesn't affect K1 visa, are we even able to apply for a green card after we enter the US and got married? isn't that categorized as an immigrant visa?

Yes, you will be able to avail yourself to a GC. During times like this we overthink the process. I tend to take a different approach and that is wait till I am closer to the actual event and then be concerned if there are any unusual events that will impact my progress. This way I am not causing myself stress. It works for me and it may work for you. Good luck and stay engaged.

@Greenbaum How long is DS160 valid for? Is there an expiry date ? I filled up the form when our case changed to in transit and it has been still in transit for more than a month. Should I redo another DS 160 when my status turn ready?

You only need to make changes if changes are needed otherwise your current DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application is good to go. There is no expiration date only if changes are needed.

BTW if using the "@" sign then it will not require you to quote another post to get my attention. One or the other will work. I would have used the "@" sign only because your question has nothing to do with the OP's question, but you wanted my attention. Just keeping it real.

Thank you!  Where do I pay the visa fee?  The website above says that I can only register if I have received the appointment letter from the Consulate and nothing has arrived at this point in the Covid disaster.  :(   It doesn't say anything about paying the fee?

I have received a Consular interview appointment date from the National Visa Center (NVC), Kentucky Consular Center (KCC), or the Consular Section and I have been instructed to register my appointment on this site.
I have received a letter/email from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K (Fiancé(e)/Spouse/Child) visa appointment.
I have received a letter/email from the consular section with instructions to schedule an immigrant visa appointment.

Thank you!  Where do I pay the visa fee?  You pay the visa fee online. In my post I had a link to the website that you register and pay your interview fee.

The website above says that I can only register if I have received the appointment letter from the Consulate and nothing has arrived at this point in the Covid disaster.  :(   It doesn't say anything about paying the fee?  With your case number from NVC you can move forward with your payment of the interview. The letter they are referring to is the P3 which you say you received.

I have received a Consular interview appointment date from the National Visa Center (NVC), Kentucky Consular Center (KCC), or the Consular Section and I have been instructed to register my appointment on this site. Ignore this, its standard "garbage" sent to immigrant visa applicants and you are a non-immigrant with immigration intent. It's treated differently.

I have received a letter/email from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K (Fiancé(e)/Spouse/Child) visa appointment. This is the letter that you stated that you did not receive. This is the letter that instructs you to pay your fee and schedule your appointment. So, now is the time to follow the instructions and create and account and pay your fee and schedule your interview appointment.

I have received a letter/email from the consular section with instructions to schedule an immigrant visa appointment. Then you are good to proceed.

I did NOT receive a P3 letter from the Consulate - I got the instructions from here.

The website states very clearly that I shouldn't move forward without receiving a letter with an appointment set.  The 3 statement paragraphs above are the only options it gives to move forward - and I haven't received the P3 appointment letter.  This is why it's so confusing - you are posting the letter (or link to) and telling me to disregard what the website clearly states???

I appreciate the assistance, but I don't want to overstep and give the Consulate ANY reason to deny because I haven't follow the instructions.

I apologize. I remember now that Jamica is a weird duck when it comes to this process. They, Canada and China are so different in that they schedule steps differently from other embassies. You can't go wrong if you follow the embassy's website. From what I have given you, you can still prepare your documents for the interview. That doesn't change.

Quick question. We had already written up our I-134 prior to the pandemic. Now my fiance has been furloughed. What should we write instead? He is still employed by his work but he is receiving unemployment now. What do we write? His work? Unemployment? Write it in the comments?

We are using a co-sponsor anyway and this was always the case. They haven't lost their job. I am just not sure what to put for my fiance.

Thanks!
