This wait is a lot different to NOA2 as I don't have an app to constantly refresh lol.

There are apps out there where you don't have to refresh. The app does all the work for you. It uses your WAC number and when it finds a change it reports it back to you. Simple.

For the NVC stage? Thanks. I will look.

Also I just found out I need a SSN to get married in South Dakota. I didn't think others needed one but I guess I do here. This changes when I need to move as I guess there is no way around it for non-citizens? I want to get married 07/19 and I am not sure how early to enter to try and get the number before that. It says they don't need the card just the number. Do you have any advice? Google isn't very helpful.

NVC there is no app.

Soon as you are able visit the closes social security office an apply for a SSN. It will take about 2-4 weeks for one to be issued. There is a section here on VJ that talks about what this. Look on the main page of the forums.

That's pretty surprising. You can get married in another state, if the date is that important. You just have to get married in the state in which you get the marriage license. After that it doesn't matter where you got married.

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to ask, our NOA2 date of approval is 11th of February 2020, when shall I ask my fiance (petitioner) to prepare documents such as bank statements, I34, etc?

Thank you very much! :)

Hi! Where can we see what Noa2 date NVC is processing at the moment? I called NVC earlier he told me about it but I can’t find it in the department of state website.

They are in the last two weeks of October. I'm not sure there is a website you can see that information from.

@Greenbaum Hello!

I have not signed up for emails and called the NVC either, however will my US fiancé receive an email if the NVC is shipping the case to my consulate?

Expand

Yes the should send an email when it ships to the consulate. It usually is within the week to two week time period.
