Good morning all,

I hope the week is has gone well for everyone here.

And don't fret, there are a few more hours left to get more NOA2 approvals yet....

@Greenbaum (Mr. Greenbaum) thank you for all your efforts on here to make this process so much more clear.

Can I trouble you for the P3 package for Vietnam, i see you've been able to help others on here obtain their countries package.

But please only if you have time.

Thank  you

Fugy

Usually you will not receive the P3 letter in the mail. Do an online service request. They will respond typically in 2 -3 days with the instruction (P3). You will need to submit D-160 and pay the visa fee, then schedule the medical afterward. Technically, you will need the P3 to complete the medical exam, although some have gotten by with just the interview confirmation. I wouldn't risk it and would just request that they email it to you via: https://vn.usembassy...a-inquiry-form/  When using the form be sure to add in the comments section the last 4 digits of your SSN or they will email you back asking for it which causes further delays.

Here is some information including the Embassy P3 for you to get a head start

P3 Letter

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

These are items that everyone asks for, so I thought I just post a PDF of them here for you to refer to when it's necessary.

Unfortunately I don't have a true Packet 3 letter so if and when you get a copy can you PM me with it? Thanks.

You should be over in the sub-forum for your area where you can ask some of the others who are applying and also there are some experts that can answer your questions.

@Greenbaum do you by any chance have a p3 for Bosnia?  If not, I'll make sure to send it to you once a receive it so someone else can benefit from it later on.

People keep promising that they will help me out and send me a copy of the P3 but they have yet to their word. I hope you can help when you get your copy. Here is what I have.

All I have is this https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ba/niv/information/required_docs which should be a good start. Also read what is here on VJ http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Bosnia-Herzegovina&cty=Sarajevo.

https://www.visajourney.com/portals/index.php?country=Bosnia-Herzegovina

If you get a copy of the P3 letter and would like to share it with me, I use it to help others after you are well on your way. Just PM me here on VJ when you have a copy.

And use the advance search here on VJ to look for information needed for the interview https://www.visajourney.com/search/

Just called the NVC about 5 minutes ago and it took less than 10 minutes to get through to a representative named Jim.

We got our case number!

I also asked for the invoice number (per the PDF) but forgot to ask when the case was received...

Too excited!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! 🥰

When you get your hard copy you can confirm but the PDF does show you how you can determine when that date was.

Join! Really excited to have received the NOA2 hard copy today!!!!

@Greenbaum if possible would you please share a p3 for China? Thank you very much! 😍

I just sent a inquiry on NVC website to update my email... according to the suggestion from the pdf. Now I am getting lost. I will need to do more research, but for now I think I better wait for 30 days and see what will happen next? 🤔 My fiance has already been preparing some of the documents, and I am preparing my tax return and W2 documents as well. I hope coronavirus ends soon... so that the China government and embassy can start to work as usual.

That makes two of us.  I am doing ths same thing, my taxes will be done this weekend and in 3 weeks I should be able to request an IRS transcript and working on the !-134.  As soon as she feels safe to travel my fiance is planning to take a train home to get her birth certificate and police certificate. I hope your fiance is in one of the lesser hit provinces.

This is a long text please don't use it to reply but use the "@" to contact. This will keep the thread cleaner looking. Thanks.

I hope everyone is safe and are taking percautionary measures. Here is the information that I have for China.

The GUZ P3 is what prevents people in China from getting a head start, they want the instructions page mailed back with the requested documents.

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-iv-visaapplyinfo.asp#KVisaPetitions

P3 Letter for China:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gcrLW0OCkGfdz43tehWNmgDayJUrRTdj/view?usp=sharing

U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou when it is time to schedule an interview. K visa applicants will be notified by the U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou when it is time to schedule an interview. You cannot schedule your interview appointment till such time as you have been sent the P3 letter from the Embassy and have returned the requested documents.

Here is some help from other members here on VJ:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/94-china/

And the Portal here on VJ for processing in China and what to expect

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=China&cty=Guangzhou

and the http://www.ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-iv-visaapplyinfo.asp

Don't waste time while you're waiting for P3, complete DS-160 and print confirmation page. Since you are from China go to the 2nd link below and click immigrant to register under K1 visa. After you register and enter info it should be clear on how to pay fee, make sure you print bank deposit slip. Just follow directions under Nonimmigrant Visa, but make sure when you register K1 is under Immigrant Visa.

Directions go to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-niv-visaapply.asp

Register(Create Account) https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=China

After you register make sure to choose K1 visa under Immigrant, it wasn't an option for under non-immigrant.
