Hello, Writing to share the good news. We have received an email from the Abu Dhabi Embassy that they will resume interviews for K1 cases starting the 17th September

Yep I did find out today he will be interviewing at the Montreal consulate. Thank you!

Did most of you get an email from NVC when they received your file? I put the request in per the PDF instructions and I know I probably still have awhile to wait.

 

It was hit and mostly miss with text/email notifications in the course of I-129F adjudication. So I'm wondering if NVC notification is any different.

I did not receive an email and only found out by calling them.

Seems like a lot of people whos applications didn't ship are ones going to China. So I was just the unlucky one who didn't make the cut off with no other reason lol

How long is it taking approximately for them to receive the application and create a  case number? Also I read you don't submit a affidavit of support until you're in the US but I see you guys talking as if it's required before the interview is even scheduled?

Lol mine was assigned Thursday. We completed ds160 but have not submitted just yet.
