So excited to see so many in transit!!

My NOA2 is on Feb 10th. Just checked and still shows "at NVC"...

Hmm...🤔

As suggested on pdf, the next shipping date may be on March 17th. So I may have to wait until then? 🤔😵

I am happy for everyone but also sad as I am in the same boat. NOA2 02/13 and it wasn't on this shipment even though I received my case number last week. Two weeks is such a long way away!

Hi @Greenbaum,

I have just been reading on the i-134 and this is what both my partner and co-sponsor are providing

i-134
Transcripts
W2
Letter from employer
Pay stubs

Four of these as we have a K2 as well so need four copies.

But I read on a really old post that the co-sponsor needs to provide proof of identity e.g. birth cert copy or passport bio page. Is this true as I haven't read it anywhere else? I know my partner doesn't.

Thanks!

Tracked my case number a few minutes ago and it says it’s In Transit! Noa2 was Feb 13. Any ideas how long til it’s Case Ready? I’m excited to reach the finish line.

It can be very quick after your CEAC status shows READY.

For the visa application process in the Philippines jump over to here:  https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You will need either the letter or email from NVC for completing the medical at SLEC.    Once you have either one email a copy to your beneficiary.

I think there are more security checks done while at the embassy, so the answer is "it depends".

I noticed you are from Seattle also, and our applications are on the same shipment to Manila. Good luck!

If you case file is heading to the Philippines, jump over to that forum for better answers to the process there:  https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

Oh man. My friends went in transit today and I came on here to ask as mine hasn't and I see that so many other peoples including the same NOA2 went in transit today. I wonder why mine is still at NVC.

This guy called Greenbaum knew long ago that someone would ask this question or run into the situation and FREAK OUT. Boy was he right. So he set out to make a PDF with just about every scenario would happen at the stage you are at. He did it so he wouldn't have to answer the same question over and over. So being the nice guy he is (according to Mrs. Greenbaum) he's going to answer that question again. This come straight from the PDF.

9. Tracking your case file that's in transit to your Embassy: Shipments are shipped on every
other Tuesday and Wednesday. Shipment status is updated throughout the day, so if yours
doesn’t appear, relax and have patience as many will show later in the day or the next day. This
holds if you received your case number before the Wednesday before the shipping week, you
most likely would be on the shipping schedule for the next scheduled shipping dates (see
below for shipping dates).

Check CEAC for updated progress and look for "in transit"!! If that shows, you are on your way.
Shipments are throughout Tuesday’s, and Wednesday, so don't get discouraged if your record
at CEAC has not changed over to "in transit.”
Also, for those who want to have a little fun in
tracking your shipment, see the DHL hack on the first page of this thread NUMBER 19 for
instructions. NOTE: The DHL hack information will not be available until Wednesday as the
DHL and NVC computers must sync with each other to produce the outcome.

If you have these items you will meet or exceed what the embassy is looking for.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT: You must submit any evidence which will show that you and members of your family who will accompany you are not likely to become public charges while in the United States. Visa petitioner (US Citizen) will have to complete form I-134. Thanks @Greenbaum! I appreciate it must be very annoying to repeat things in the PDF so I do apologise!
One other question. Does my co-sponsor need to provide any proof of identity?

None. The poof the CS is providing is contained in the requested documents. So no BC or the like is needed.

It took 1 day?!?!? That's some fast mailman.

I wonder if I'ma be so lucky...or anyone else.

Maybe Brazil is a little closer then Canada. :P I think what has happened here is the electronic version arrived and the paper file is "still in the air" so to say. Montreal is so slow in all they do concerning the K-1 process. You have so many more hoops to jump through before you can do this step or that step. So brace yourself.

Here read this over and you'll see what I am referring to:

You can't hurry it along at all. You must wait till you see your date on CEAC change to ready two times. The second change you can send in your P3. A copy of the P3 is linked below. Comply with what they ask for in P3 (the actual one they send you) by sending them a copy of the signed P3 checklist, your DS-160 confirmation and your Passport Bio. Then they send you P4. Then they tell you to register to schedule and you'll wait some more for interviews to open up, which only happens once a month during the last week of the month for two months ahead UNLESS you are lucky and you scoop up a cancellation. Get your medical appointment first so you can schedule the interview shortly afterward.

Oh I totally know we have a ton more steps and slowness compared to other embassys.

I was just commenting on how fast the mail seemed to have gone, but if it's electronic thats cool too.

I personally wasn't expecting mine to show up till Montreal until Friday anyway.

Edit- I just looked and its end of day tomorrow, even better. At this point it's no rush for me anyway. I know it's gonna go faster than the wait for the NoA2 lol!
