Ours shows in transit as of today too. I read through the PDF again but saw no mention about is saying "Your interview date was provided by the NVC" I received no text or email so can I assume it will be in a letter sent to me or my fiance?

Never got a NOA2 letter in mail, but our petition is approved and NVC has sent the case to HK consulate in Feb.

Just checked again and it shows that the case is "ready for interview". So I am filling DS-160 for my fiance now, the question is - for address intend to stay, do I have to put a confirmed destination, or I can just made it up?

We still haven't got an address in the U.S. since I have been residing in Hong Kong most of my life.

I only have a mailbox address in California but CA is not where we want to go.

Appreciate some advice, thank you.

You use the mailbox address then when you have secured a place to live go to USCIS and change your address for other process's that you will do.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Hello

I got my case number assigned on Feb 26th based on the tip sheet made by @Greenbaum

I have been trying to check the status (immigrant visa pulldown) using the link-

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV

But I keep getting the message that -no results found

Am I missing anything?

Financial

For JA they accept as proof of income only the following items:

Tax transcript for the past three years
Copies of W-2's for the past three years
Letter from your employer
Six months of Payroll Check stubs

Thank you, @Greenbaum for this info!

Question:  You say they accept proof of income "only the following items" - does this mean one must provide ALL of these items or choose ONE from these items to provide proof?

It should work. Double check your entries and maybe give it 24 hours to clear up.

I think there are more security checks done while at the embassy, so the answer is "it depends".

I noticed you are from Seattle also, and our applications are on the same shipment to Manila. Good luck!

I’ve heard others from the PH facebook group say that some of them were updated from In Transit to Case Ready in as little as 2 days! How exciting. But I’m gonna keep my expectations low.
