Hi Guys, I have a question. I just send my papers last Wednesday and they delivered Friday night. As of now, I haven't get any email from USCIS if they received my packet. My question, How many days they usually take to email your own receipt number and notification if they received. Thank you

Hi Duke and Marie. Thank you for your response. I'm reading a lot of fillers here at VJ. sometimes, after three days they got their receipt number. However, I'm a little worried about it

I filed mine January 10th by mail and still haven't recieved my receipt number. Makes me worry too.

Did you file in Chicago Lockbox? I read some topic here at VJ. You can call the USCIS and email for update. 

Hopefully we get our receipt soon.

No, my lawyer filed it an I didn't ask her which lock box. I was told it could take 2-3 weeks for a reply so I'm gonna follow up on Sunday if I don't hear anything.

I filed in October and got text messages after 15 days and the letter came 6 days after that

@here I sent my packet to USCIS lockbox on 24th and USPS delivered on 26th. No response yet and they did not even charge my credit card yet.

I got my text notifications from USCIS tonight

UPS Delivered my package on the 27th to Chicago, well "the mailroom" to be exact.   No response yet and they haven't cashed my check.     I am one day behind you in line !
