CEAC can lag behind. If you don’t get any Background checks or anything then should be a week or two.

would they do a back groundcheck even knowing I already  did a FBI check and turn it in to they as well  but any ways he approve  all them he was about to give me a white paper slip but then he gave me a green one  and said all I need is a new passport  because  I can't print a visa on this  passport  I got new one and sent it in  yesterday  now I called and ask they told me they resive my passport  and my case was been process

Administrative Processing is necessary for all cases.  Unfortunately, it can be days, weeks, or months.  Visas are not approved until after administrative processing is complete and the CEAC status changes to "issued".....

Certain posts have certain rules. If your passport had any missing pages, major scuffs, was bent, or otherwise maimed or gave the appearance of wear, a new passport is better. Your country may have also revised their passports in the past few years with higher security standards, and a consulate may be more comfortable with a newer, more secure passport.

complying is your only choice with INA221if you wish to overcome your denial. It shouldn’t be too much longer until you get the visa.

It’s always a “good” sign when they keep or request passports. So I say keep yourself informed on your CEAC status, and await any correspondence from the mission.

Keep checking your CEAC status. I was in AP for 8 days (in Frankfurt) cause of my medical exam not arriving in time.

All you can do is wait. It took 3 weeks for me to get my visa after my interview, and there were no issues; the consulate was just busy at the time. No one can tell you how long it will take.

I'm curious. How were you able to produce a brand new passport within a day? In my country, even the expedited renewal takes 2 days.
