Second interview?

I'm not certain if this is the correct place, or if this belongs in the K1 forum.

I received a 221g form on December 4th after my k1/k2 interview in Montreal, and was required to send in more documents pertaining to the custody of my daughter. I quickly sent them in, as her father and I are on good terms  and he's very willing to allow her to move with me. My file was immediately changed to AP on the CEAC website, while my daughter's was left at "Ready"

At my interview I was told everything else was good, and it would be highly unlikely I would need a second interview.

Today I did my daily check of my administrative processing status and saw they updated my file this morning, so I checked back in the afternoon and now it says "Ready" and " Your case is ready for you to schedule an interview at the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal." Obviously I'm going to try to schedule an interview as soon as possible, but has anyone else experienced this?

I haven't received any communication from the consulate and have no idea what this interview is about or what documents I need to prepare. Any advice for what to do? I emailed the consulate before posting here. I assume at this point I should book my interview and hope this is an error, and that I'll receive an update about my visa shortly, in which case I can cancel the unneeded interview, but I'm not too hopeful that will happen.

I'm mildly concerned that this may have something to do with me being pregnant. I'm due early May. I did submit proof that I was with my partner over the summer when our child was conceived, both a medical report and my passport with stamps showing I was in Miami with my partner for that period of time, but with the recent crackdown on birth tourism I'm a little worried even though I know that should affect my case at all, as we started our case nearly a year ago now, well before my pregnancy.

Edited to add: I'm not even sure how to book a second interview, the website (ais.usvisa-info.com) I used when I booked my first interview it doesn't give me an option to book another.

Did they keep your passport, assuming so more likely they will issue the visa. Web updates seem hit or miss.

They returned my passport after my interview, but requested I send them in with my missing documents, and they still have them.

I would expect they will issue the visa, no harm arranging an interview.

I agree with Boiler, most likely someone hit the wrong button.

You can give it a few days or email them now and ask.

My case was updated again today, looks like a second interview isn't required, thank goodness.

It was finally changed to a Non immigrant Visa Application, with the message " Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days."

I know from reading the forums here that this is a very good thing, and usually means I will get my visa soon.

To the extent that we can ever be certain about anything looks to me that you are good to go.

May I ask what documents they needed pertaining your daughter? We will be bringing my daughter (my husbands step daughter),  and want to make sure we have everything ready.
Got the court order showing custody, and Will get the notarized letter from her dad with his consent for her to move

I didn't have the notarized letter, so I had to get one but I was told at the consulate I needed a photocopy of her father's passport as well.
