Hi,

I'm wondering if somebody who has experience with the Jamaican medical exam can please provide their experience with a fiancé who has smoked weed in the past? What questions were asked? Is there really a one year ban if you answer yes to smoking weed in the past, but could pass a drug test? I understand they want to know if there an addiction involved, but if you pass a drug test or haven't smoked in years, why would they still ban for a year by being honest? I hear so many different stories. I'm not sure what to be prepared for.

Thanks.

They'll want to know how long ago was the last time they smoked, i think it has to be more than 3 years go. I think as long as youre honest and it has been a while since last smoked, all should be well. if anything, call the hospital and ask for clarification, I don't think theyre gonna withhold information like that.

My husband said that at his medical there was another guy there that was back after waiting a year to do is medical, to be honest, that could have been for anything but the assumption is that he was waiting for the thc to leave his system fully (no one asked him).
