Another question is will House Dems be penalized for doing this in the first place?  Btw, if we believe that poll, then the Dems have to be shaking in their boots over the polls showing Trump's support from black voters into the 30% range.

The plot thickens?  Considering Trump responded to this, maybe the defense thinks Bolton will not hurt them in exchange for some other witnesses.  Gotta love political quid pro quos.

If you pretend that "a speedy trial with no evidence or witnesses" was Trump's only path to success, then you have a point. But because it isn't true, you don't.
