Hi all

I was a bit confused as to what financial evidence my spouse needs to bring for her interview. For the affidavit of support we submitted the signed document and a copy of the tax return for the last three years. Do we need to include anything else for the interview or just those things should suffice? What about a tax return transcript, is that necessary? Also, with the new tax season in process, do I need to submit my W2s for 2019 (haven't filed taxes yet, too early), meaning are they looking for 2019 as well now (2018 was the latest when we submitted the documents back in November). Thanks

2019 tax information does not need to be provided until after April 15. If you had already done taxes, you could take an update, but immigration can not require you to file before the filing deadline.  If you want to put a photocopy of the new W2 in your pocket as an extra proof showing recent income just in case, you can do that. I wouldn’t anticipate you would need to show it.
