I know! Really appreciate all the advise.. I guess my husbands income and my babysitting job that would have a total of 50k would be enough for my parents affidavit of support. I have 2 babies so a total household of 6 including my parents.

You need to find out what the 125% income  level is..you will be sponsoring each parent separately so, on the affidavit of support for each one , your household size is 5 not six. If you were to bring them here one at a time , and already have a parent whom you have sponsored here when you complete the second I864, then the household size for that second parent would be 6

You also need to consider how they will pay for medical

insurance etc, as they will

face the public charge test.

No prob 🙂 I’ll be honest I was a bit scared traveling especially because my petition was approved and sent to the NVC but the officer was really nice and I was honest, I told him where I was in the process and all and he even honestly told me that this process can be long.

I’m filing for both my parents at the same time. So how should I count my household size? I read from USCIS website that for a household of 6 is 43k.  I know the public charge test is another thing to worry about. 😞

True I mean they really intend to return back to the Philippines after 3-4 months, as they will book their flight with a return ticket.

Each petition is separate and stand alone. At the time of completing the I 864, you aren’t sponsoring anyone .. they are applications only .. so for each I 864 your household size is 5...  you, your spouse , your 2 children and the parent  that this 864 relates to
