Probably not. Your best bet is to rent, maybe have roommates as well, and save as much as possible for a down payment while looking for better paying jobs. Also, make sure you both have good credit. There's a lot of advice on how to build credit online.

Depends on how much money you have in your bank account or somewhere hudden in a safe. 
 

Lets say you have 20K-30K available, you may be able to buy a small house in a crime infested bad school district area.

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

Well without knowing the totality not sure how to comment further, a significant deposit at least will help.

 Before,  only my husband was working. But now, I am working full time too. As a result, I can save my salary and will be able to buy a house in 4 or 5 years.

Unfortunately the Sacramento housing prices have been increasing 4-6% per year
